The idea behind this deck is versatility, most of the cards can serve multiple roles, so if the bogbrew shenanigans are interrupted there is still a chance to win.
Creatures:
~Bogbrew Witch : Core of the deck, searches out newts and cauldrons.
~Festering Newt : Another piece of the bogbrew puzzle, but also a great standalone card. A one drop that trades up is fine by me, but throw him in the cauldron and look at the bubbles.
~Diregraf Ghoul : A 2/2 one drop zombie ( both those facts are important), the fact he comes into play tapped isn't an issue.
~Slitherhead : Another one drop zombie, and while having access to the scavenge ability is nice, he is better off left in the discard.
~Gravecraver : The reason that I am running a signifiant number of zombies is to get the most of this card; if it dies, getting it back on the board isn't a difficult task. My favorite of its synergies is with the cauldron: He swings every turn and regardless of if they block or not, you can sac him to the cauldron and theoretically recast him so he's ready to swing again.
~Blood Artist : My creatures die in this deck, so what better way to capitalize on it? Makes sacrificing a newt to the cauldron better and makes the opponent think twice before wiping the board.
Instants and Sorceries:
~Doom Blade : Cheap, effective creature removal.
~Ghoulcaller's Chant : Lets me recover a newt, or two zombies.
~Immortal Servitude : Read the card as, "Pay 4 black : Put most of my discard pile into play."
~Sign in Blood : Considering I should have plenty of life, paying two of it to draw two cards is great, especially because I can probably play them both next turn.
Artifacts:
~Elixir of Immortality: Puts newts back into the deck for witch to search for and gains me some life.
I would love any advice to make this deck more competitive.
