All hail the thropter queen, baby!

Introduction

My take on the angry esper queen, a true combo orientated commander and, in my humble opinion, a true tier 1 commander

Ideally this list should include Timetwister as that card has a ton of utility and synergy within this deck, but I unfortionately do not own one yet.

Deck Mentality

Breya is a rather unique commander in that she is esencially a selfcontaining combo engine, requiring only infinite mana to go off. Accordingly, this deck is packed with infinite mana generators, tutors for finding them and counterspells for protecting them. These will be described and discussed in detail below

Swan Song - One of the best (and cheapest) ways of stopping one of those pesky combo players from going infinite

Cute intereactions

Most of the interactions here revolve around generating infinite mana whereby Breya, Etherium Shaper can be cast infinitely and, using the tokens she generates, her Lava Spike ability activated enough times to win the game.

Breya, Etherium Shaper + Ashnod's Altar / Krark-Clan Ironworks + Nim Deathmantle / Eldrazi Displacer - Infinite colorless mana and 1/1 Thopter tokens

Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry - Pay to create a 1/1 Thopter token and gain 1 life.

• Adding Ashnod's Altar or Krark-Clan Ironworks to sacrifice the Thopter token makes this go infinite (infinite thopters, and life). If you can cast Breya, use the infinite tropters and mana to end the game. If not, then you can use the life with either Aetherflux Reservoir or Bolas's Citadel

• Adding Urza, Lord High Artificer makes you able to produce infinite (tapped) Thopter tokens and life

• Adding Time Sieve means infinite turns

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal + from mana rock (s) - infinite untaps. With > from mana rocks, infinite mana of the represented colour(s)

Auriok Salvagers + Lion's Eye Diamond - Infinite

Windfall / Wheel of Fortune + Notion Thief / Narset, Parter of Veils / Hullbreacher - Makes your opponents discard their hands. Also works well with Smothering Tithe
