Double your deck's value and then some while you're at it :P

since this is more aggroish, have you thought of Hellrider?

popboom53 Sorry, man. I like playing Magic competitively but I don't like it THAT much. $50 cards are way out of my budget, hence no Dark Confidant.

m12fox Hellrider is a good card but I really have no spot for it. Haha

Hellrider isn't THAT expensive, but honestly there is nothing worth taking out for it and the creature count isn't quite high enough for it to be completely worth it.

Description. I love you.Lmfao

FaizalWhut I only put that because, during the tournament, that dude that was playing Monored Goblins said he hated me when I went 2-0 with him. Haha.

I would replace Night's Whisper for Magma Jet, imo better for creature removal/instant damage while clearing your deck for things you don't need.

Prinnypete I really like your suggestion. I'll probably main Magma Jet and then throw Night's Whisper into the sideboard in exchange for Farseek.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Hmm. Not a bad list for a budget jund deck, but there is a couple of interesting cards to consider.

Phyrexian Arena , while it is no bob, is better than nothing and helps you get card advantage.

Blood Scriviner is the new set is a good way to refill your hand, but of course, it is no Bob and doesn't play nice with arena.

Huntsmaster of the Fells and Olivia are also nice but a bit expensive.

LeaPlath Thanks for the suggestions!! I'll look into Phyrexian Arena . If anything, I'll Abrupt Decay it if it gets out of hand. I'll probably run 1-2 copies.

I would suggest adding Verdant Catacombs because when I playtested this deck, it would always have the wrong kind of mana turn 1 and would get mana screwed a lot of games. Other fetches such as Marsh Flats aren't as necessary but would really help your turn 1 Inquisition of Kozilek , Duress , or Lightning Bolt . I'd take out basic lands for them, but you should keep one of each basic land so you can fetch them if the opponent plays Blood Moon .

volcomstone2892 Verdant Catacombs is a bit expensive but I will look into throwing them into the deck. Thanks for your suggestion!!

+1 i am playing a standard jund zombies right now and i just love the options these colors give us! have you ever found 4x Thundermaw Hellkite s to be too many or does your removal package stall your opponents out enough to get there? I also absolutely love to try and get 1x Revenge of the Hunted into any aggro deck i'm playing with green. it's so satisfying thowing that puppy onto a nighthawk...or anything else for that matter and swinging away!

Hankundead First off, thanks for checking out my deck!!

Thundermaw Hellkite is a 4-of because yes, my removal stalls the game so much that I can summon him very easily

As for Revenge of the Hunted , I think I might take Blightning out of the sideboard for it.

Thanks for the suggestions!!

hey great deck! i am looking to maybe build this and was wondering what situations you bring the sideboard in. Like against what decks and what do you take out? Sorry if some of the choices are obvious I am just getting back from the relm of edh and i am rusty :p

nikcrik Thanks for checking out my deck, dude!

I changed the sideboard from what you saw earlier but how it is now is pretty solid for an SB.

Abrupt Decay , Dreadbore , and Smother : Basic removal. My meta plays a lot of Boros and America decks so it's nice cutting their flow off early. Abrupt Decay also helps out against Oblivion Ring and any of the Mirrodin Swords.

Farseek and Gruul Keyrune : Mainly for ramp. Gruul Keyrune is also something to bloodrush a Ghor-Clan Rampager on if I have no other creatures.

Quiet Disrepair : Mainly for any enchantments that get in the way and Mirrodin Swords. Also any artifact creatures such as Wurmcoil Engine

Blightning : Good against control and combo decks. Also acts as a Lightning Bolt if I need it to.

Beckon Apparition : I threw this in to use against Zombie decks and any deck based on Varolz, the Scar-Striped .

nikcrik I forgot to answer this in the other reply but I'm never really sure what I'll take out in exchange for SB stuff. It's all dependent on what cards seemed useless against the deck I'm playing against.

Maybe run the Inquisition of Kozilek mainboard? It's just such a great card. Maybe also run Scavenging Ooze.

poistapoista Holy shit, I'm an idiot AHAHA. Thanks for the Inquisition of Kozilek suggestion. I was actually considering picking up a playset of Scavenging Ooze after seeing its presence in a lot of the tournaments I've went to recently. Thanks again!

Why not use Thoughtsieze instead of Inquisition of Kozilek? You've got the Vampire Nighthawk to balance out the life loss, it really just provides you with more options to control what your opponent can throw down.
