I turned to some fancy angelic ladies to back up the mistress to end all mistresses (if not Angel of the Dire Hour then Archangel of Tithes bit who knows.. .)

The Toolbox: Isochron Scepter and Mana Drain for that awesome repeating counter spell plus mana ramp. And other counter spells.

Kira, Great Glass-Spinner

Propaganda and Ghostly Prison for a nice layer of protection.

Serra's Sanctum for that sweet mana ramp.

and finally Sovereigns of Lost Alara because the field your hand and grave yard wasnt enough.

Geist of Saint Traft because why not.

Thassa, God of the Sea for scry-unblockable.
