It's definitely solid. The risk of playing it is that you are pretty much hated on right out the gate, so that's why I decided to add a lot of pillow fort stuff. Once people see that you're using Bruna, Light of Alabaster as your commander, they want you dead.

I will say, if you are thinking of building a Bruna deck on your own, one of the great things about her is that you can build a really strong deck for her on the cheap. She only costs a couple bucks, and aside from Eldrazi Conscription, all the auras are cheap. I think the majority of this deck's cost is the lands, especially Serra's Sanctum. That one hurt, but it lets you ramp to a ridiculous degree for Sphinx's Revelation.

Can never spend too much on fun :D I think $300 is still fairly reasonable for a decent deck. But yea I did notice the lack of tutors but it seems once you get setup the amount of card draw you get kinda mitigates that. They'd definitely help early on but yea W/B can be a bit unforgiving with tutors in EDH. Entreat would work really well with Serra's Sanctum can imagine bringing out 20-30 4/4 Angels with Avacyn out would be quite funny I'd even suggest a Grand Abolisher could give you some protection against counters.

I've thought about Grand Abolisher. With it also being a Polymorph deck, I am on the fence about him. Most creatures aren't strong enough that you'd want to Polymorph into him, but Grand Abolisher would be nice to have around in the event you don't have a Faith's Shield or Dispel ready to go.
Usually I want to Polymorph into Avacyn, Angel of Hope or Consecrated Sphinx, or any other other creatures I have here that put in a lot of work. It would depend on the matchup, I guess. If you play against a lot of counter decks, or other decks that use a lot of instants that could hinder Bruna, then Grand Abolisher would definitely be worth including. I'll have to think about that one.

The problem is with blue and white is all the enchantment auras that you would use on yourself, suck!!! Lol i am rethinking how to buold the deck around this commander.

i am gonna suggest a few better enchantments auras that you can consider. Drake Umbra, Commander's Authority, Corrupted Conscience, Fool's Demise, Mammoth Umbra actuall put all umbras in there totem armor is perfect here. Angelic Destiny, just a few i feel is good here

griffstick and Steaditup: Thanks for your suggestions. I have put them in the maybeboard.
The enchantments white and blue have aren't the greatest, but they do give you a ton of evasion, draw, and protection from colors/creatures, which ends up being just as good as stronger auras you might find in green or red, especially if you can get off a Traumatize, Mirror-Mad Phantasm, or even Thassa's Devourer. Even with what I have, she routinely gets swinging for at least 21 by turn 10 or 11, often unblockable, which is more than you can say for most commanders if you are going for straight commander damage as your win-con. All it takes is an Auramancer's Guise and odds are you're swinging for fatal.
All of these would be great in this build. I tend to have plenty of totem armor, especially when I get Umbra Mystic down, and it doesn't benefit you much to have multiple instances of totem armor on the same creature. She usually can't be easily removed anyway because she has protection from the colors on the board.
I probably won't go with Corrupted Conscience, however, as I just generally don't like infect in EDH.

Great suggestions, -MisterJ-. I'll add them to the maybeboard.

I would prefer Cranial Archive over Feldon's Cane, but that's just me.

The new enchantment in Fate Reforged, Sage's Reverie would be a great addition to a Bruna deck. It allows you to both draw cards and pump her up! If you have something that repeatably sacrifices permanents, it starts to get really broken with Bruna's attack trigger. I'll be looking for a foil one when the set drops next week for sure.

GeminiSpartanX: Played a game today with a foil Sage's Reverie I picked up. Traumatized into it, and ended up getting Bruna swinging for 27 damage on turn 7. Thanks for pointing it out to me! I hadn't paid too much attention to the enchantments coming out in FR.
January 24, 2015 4:22 a.m.
I'm slightly on the fence about Sage's Reverie, mainly because quite often I will use Mirror-Mad Phantasm and actually mill myself for well over half my deck, then if you land Sage's Reverie in the graveyard, when it comes into play along with everything else in the graveyard/hand and checks, I could quite literally just draw the rest of the deck.
That being said, will it ever happen? Probably not, but it is still a risk.

-MisterJ- I think the odds of that happening are fairly low, especially if you can get a Feldon's Cane or another graveyard shuffle into the board. By the time you've gotten both off, odds are slim that there are going to be enough turns left in the game that you'll deck yourself. The good thing, at least, is that Bruna's is a may ability, so if it's getting close, you can always leave Reverie in the graveyard.
January 24, 2015 4:30 a.m.
That is true. The possibility is always there, and in my build I actually don't run any GY recursion to bring my yard back into my deck, mainly because I've never needed it. But it might be something I look into in the future.
My concerns are probably null and void, but its something that I always worry about, because dying to mill has actually happened before.

-MisterJ- Yeah, I primarily use things like Mnemonic Nexus and Elixir of Immortality just in case somebody tries to Bojuka Bog me, but they have the added bonus of helping you not mill yourself to death.

Oh, and kameenook, I meant to address your comment earlier. Cranial Archive is awesome, and would be great in this build too. I like that I don't have to leave any mana open for Feldon's Cane, and that it only costs 1 to drop it, but they are both great choices. Honeslty, I could be convinced to replace Time Reversal with Cranial Archive, since it's at sorcery speed, but I like the disruption that Time Reversal creates for the other players, and it's just a fun card in general to run.
January 24, 2015 5:03 a.m.
Thanks for getting back to me, I am sitting here facepalming, because for some reason I thought Feldon's Cane was a 3 drop.
I noticed in an earlier comment you were worried about milling yourself, perhaps Laboratory Maniac will get rid of your fears?
January 24, 2015 8 a.m.
That's a terrible idea. No offense but Bruna needs to get there as quick as possible, and he has enough grave cycles to not have to be concerned.
January 24, 2015 9:19 a.m.
It was just an idea, alternate win conditions are nice.

Yeah, I want to add Academy Rector as well as Enlightened Tutor and Mystical Tutor to this deck. I just haven't found something to replace them with yet, and I've already kind of spent too much on it, hehe. If I add Mystical Tutor then I'd definitely want Temporal Mastery and Entreat the Angels as well.
