Went 0-3 in the Standard Daily, quite disappointed however I also think the shuffler on that game is crap, but whatever. Here are the results.
Match 1 0-2 against a RWB Aggro deck. Game 1 I had shit draws so he was able to remove all threats and overwhelm me pretty quickly. Game 2 was better and went on for quite a bit with both of us playing the removal and damage game. In the end he was able to keep more out than me.
Match 2 1-2 against a GWB midrange deck. Abzan deck. Game 1 I overwhelmed him pretty quickly and was able to win by turn 7. Game 2 he mana surged quickly and was able to get more creatures out than I could handle. My board wipe spells were never drawn. Game 3 went the same.
Match 3 0-2 against another RWB aggro deck. Game 1 by turn 6 I had only 2 mana and 4 creatures out, got him down to 7 life before he got out his army. Game 2 I had to mulligan down to 4 cards before I even had a land to play and then I drew 7 lands and 1 creature and a few instants by turn 8 I was dead again. this is the match that really showed how bad the shuffler can be.
Anyway, shuffling aside, I think I am going to implement a few more direct damage spells and replace my Blood-Chin Rager with Monastery Swiftspear. Maybe drop the Ankle Shanker for Arashin Foremost
