also, how do you feel about Ajani's Presence ? maybe with or along with Gods Willing ? protection against wraths and the heroic trigger...

Good Idea. I'll side it. : )
As for the zombie guy, I think he'd be a bit to slow... : (

Dont run mana confluence. Drawing them in multiples sucks but u can probsbly get away with running 1-2
Also i playtested this deck and it is very brutal but it's also too slow.I would recomend 4x elvish mysticAnd mabey a couple of sylvan caryatids.

Based on testing, I don't think it needs ramp, and drawing multiple MCs isn't a very big problem...

I would removing the Pain Seer and replacing with mayve either Tormented Hero or Cruel Sadist . In play testing this deck i found that more times than not because you have so many 3 cast cards that i found myself losing 3 life on the draw. Given the Mana Confluence and the pain lands and Herald of Torment it starts to add up quickly.

Did some testing, and your suggestion was GREAT! :D
The hero is great!

Underworld Coinsmith could also help if you're looking for more life gain with a 2 mana drop card.
August 4, 2014 5:28 p.m.
I like it, the problem is that you need to pump in mana to make an opponent lose life.

I honestly doubt anybody would side that card unless they're also on a budget. Enchantment decks are faaaaaaaaar from viable, but this deck is budget, so this is what I can do.

This is a sweet deck, you said that it costs significantly less than you thought at first...how much would you reckon it costs now? +1
August 4, 2014 8:28 p.m.
Like $100. Not super cheap, but if you compare it to other competitive decks, it's pretty cheap. (Most competitive standard decks cost like $250-$400) It's also post rotation, so It's less of an expense for later. : )

I really like the deck and want to make it, but Back to Nature is really making me hesitate. It was mentioned earlier by soulredemer, and I kind of think the card will be more prevalent than it seems. With cards like Chained to the Rocks and Banishing Light still around post-rotation, there are pretty big reasons to side it in.
I was trying to think of ways to survive a board wipe and thought of regenerate and indestructible. Does anyone know of any post-rotation cards that would do something like this? Golgari Charm could be good, but it is going to rotate.

And bestow creatures aren't auras, so hero of iroas is just a brick

Just saw Ajani's Presence in an earlier comment, that's pretty much what I'm looking for. Thanks, Mtguy93

@avacynangelofgayness bestow creatures are considered aura enchantment if you pay their bestow mana cost
August 5, 2014 9:36 a.m.
@johnpyp: You can just use basics or scry-lands. : )
@avacynangelofgayness: What Niksotr8 said.
@Shnakes: Good Point! I hadn't thought of those cards! Maybe I should bring my Ajani's Presence count up to a 4-of... Thanks! :D

Okay I checked the ruling lol. I thought aura referred to a specific type of enchantment my bad lol.

Not getting enough green for boon satyr. Maybe reconsider for something else, the card draw is nice and easier to do than getting 2 G. Imo

Could you explain to me why aren't you using Soldier of the Pantheon nor Fleecemane Lion ? Aren't they brutal enough ? Or is it because they don't have any bestow ? Nyxborn Shieldmate 2-3 manas for +1/+2 isn't there anything better ? :s I'm not criticising, I'd like to understand for my own use :P
+1 :)

@knice: Well, Boon Satyr is good, but like you said, sometimes isn't worth it. What do you suggest instead?
@dejanprole: They just don't end up helping as much as you'd think. I tried them a while back, and they weren't really pulling there own weight... :P

@Scorprix: I bought this deck (or at least a very similar one) and I played it in standard (went 2-2). After playing with the deck, I think I'm going to remove all the green from it. I ended up side-boarding the Boon Satyr s and the Warriors' Lesson s for a majority of the games and replaced them with 2 Whip of Erebos , 4 Hero's Downfall , and 2 Ajani's Presence . I'm now main-boarding the whips because it lets you regain lost life from pain lands and Mana Confluence . It also let me bring back Master of the Feast for a turn, gaining 5 life in the process. Agent of the Fates was amazing, especially with the one drop instants that can target him. i didn't encounter any Back to Nature when I played and I don't think you'll have to worry about it too much. The only real problem was card draw. I'll probably use Underworld Connections until they rotate out, and then Sign in Blood or something. Although it needs some tweaks, it was a lot of fun to play and I'm glad I have a post-rotation deck.
