i love the sacrificial stuff in this deck. i think it'll work well with blood artist.

I would recommend adding two Demonlord of Ashmouth . The high attack power and undying ability of this creature has fantastic synergy with the Disciple of Bolas .

If you're feeling a bit riskier (and that's what black decks are all about .), try adding two Demonic Taskmaster instead. It's forced sac ability every upkeep is counterbalanced by the recurring nature of the Gravecrawler . Besides, if you ever need to rid yourself of him, just sac him with your Bloodthrone Vampire .

duress on sideboard imo.i play a mono black undying killing wave deck and duress on sidedeck is good for mana leak before a wave.

it seems to me that Disciple of Bolas and card:Altar's Reap are fairly important to a deck that mostly sends it's own creatures to the graveyard.

I think you ought to run more of them.

I would think about adding some Falkenrath Noble s just in case you don't see any blood artists.

Wicked, I think this is where my mono Black is going post-rotation. I have to cut Fume Spitter , Lashwrithe , and Phyrexian Obliterator . Hopefully RtR will give us some fun toys.

If you can get your hands one 1 or 2 of them, I would highly suggest Liliana of the Dark Realms . In mono black she is just far to good to pass up if you have the ability to get her.

See, this kind of deck is why Haunting Echoes needs to be reprinted. Not having it in M13 made me so sad... +1

If you are really into sacrificing all your creatures for other cards abilities, Butcher Ghoul is a very low summon with undieing.

Butcher Ghoul would be a good choice, but I'm already running 2 different 2 drops, and I really don't have much leeway when it comes to that.

Your deck is awesomesauce. So, what are your thoughts on Bloodline Keeper  ^Flip ? In my own Bloodthrone Vampire deck, I use him to generate tokens for sacrifice and eventually Lord of Lineage  ^{Flip  Flip} to boost the power of my vampires.

As much as I like Bloodline Keeper  ^Flip , mainly because I've always been partial to Vampire tribal, I just think there are better 4 drops. In mono black, Demonlord of Ashmouth is rather nice, fuel for Blood Artist , as well as a decent size creature with undying. Add in a splash of red, and you get Falkenrath Aristocrat or Olivia Voldaren , Both of which are amazing 4 drops, and also open up Brimstone Volley and Pillar of Flame .

This deck looks like my deck, The Standard Zombies. You also definitely need Tragic Slip . With all the sacrificing going on there, it's really going to be useful.

Had Tragic Slip , when I added the red I must have gotten rid of it on accident. xD

And, In RTR we get Desecration Demon , Blood Crypt , Ultimate Price , Dreadbore , and other stuff too.

I'm building a similar deck Want em? Take em!. i had Gravecrawler and Butcher Ghoul , but figured Goblin Arsonist would be better since its all cannon fodder and chimp blockers to wait for Killing Wave + Blood Artist to take over. I also wanted to go with a lower mana curve to get cards out quickly, and Sign in Blood to make sure i have what i need.

The Standard Zombies is my version, and it is very similar. I would, however, use 4c tragic slip instead of fling, because it kills any creature you could see, and I would use flames of the firebrand instead of brimstone volley. Either of these could work though, and I think brimstone volley is a good finisher along with fling.

Honestly, Fling would be used if They keep saccing tokens or smaller creatures to Desecration Demon . If I can't get him through, might as well fling him.
