I tried the whole "Mill myself a bunch" thing, but it didn't work out Now I just use big draw spells.

Have you considered a it more counter magic/removal?

I've found that in my own Aura Mind Trick I can't deliver the killing blow until late just due to the cost of the general and to combat that I added a few more counterspells and removal. Void Stalker , Dissipate , Cyclonic Rift , Swords to Plowshares , Path to Exile , Devastation Tide , and I've found Divine Reckoning to be an all-star card as well.

If your playgroup is like mine, you'll need to cast Bruna a few times (assuming there are more than two players), Grand Arbiter Augustin IV should not only be the clear choice for alt-commander -- it IS control -- it should be in there to maker her more affordable, too.

You have False Demise already, but I think it's worth being redundant with card:Fool's Demise. Can be really frustrating for opponents.

@ Human_Rogue_21 Too small and doesn't do enough, took it out in early testing.

@ Ohthenoises I did check out your deck and thought it looked pretty good. I'm still testing to find out what best to take out, though. It's a really tough choice because I rarely find myself with useless cards.

@ KevinLS I'm definately looking for space for ol' Auggy, and I took out Fool's Demise in preliminary testing.

Ethereal Armor and Daybreak Coronet could be useful.

If you read my list you'd see I do indeed have Ethereal Armor, and I took out Coronet because she needs to have an aura on her before you attack, otherwise it can't attach from her ability.

Also I don't play or get involved with competitive constructed format decks. Sorry. I quit all magic except for Commander and the odd casual match.

Well, you could cut back on the amounts of buff enchantments you have and replace them with contermagic because, really, all you need to do is get her to 21/21 or 10/10 with Corrupted Conscience . Also, adding a bit more tutor wouldn't go amiss Enlightened Tutor for example.

I'm not sold on card:Faith's Reward or Mind Spring . card:Faith's Reward is decent but requires you to save mana open while swinging and you might be better just Counterspell ing their akroma's wrath rather than trying to recover from it. If you want to let it go through card:Fool's Demise is one less and returns to your hand. Mind Spring is a one shot draw and isn't all that useful IMO.

Just my thoughts on things.

Whoops. My bad on the Ethereal Armor .

If you want an anti-boardwipe that keeps your mana up instead of say card:Faith's Reward cards like Angelic Renewal , False Demise , and card:Fool's Demise are great for Bruna. It doesn't matter if you lose enchantments on her just swing next turn and get them all back.

Also consider Divine Reckoning instead of Supreme Verdict

Okay so I'm thinking this:

-Mind Spring+Grand Arbiter Augustin IV

I really like Faith's Reward, especially for when I play a board wipe and then play that afterwards. It's a lot pf fun in conjunction with Cataclysm and basically means I win.

No, because I like to be able to have an option of searching my library while taxing players.

Thanks, and no problem, it's easy to miss things in a deck full of 99 one-ofs.

What's with the Thirst for Knowledge ? You're not running a lot of artifacts. Do you want to use that to cheat things into play from your GY? I don't think you're getting maximum mileage out of that card, but I'm probably missing something as your deck looks pretty solid. Would rather run an Enlightened Tutor , even though you already have some tutors. Still cannot hurt to add another 1 CMC instant-speed tutor.

And no Oblivion Ring ? I would think cheap, flexible permanent control always comes in handy...

I run Thirst for Knowledge because drawing 3 and ditching 2 doesn't really hurt me at all. It's a draw 3 for 3, so it's value in Bruna. I stopped running ET because I just don't like tutors I need to play EoT to get immediate value. I might add it in at some point, but you can only have so many expensive cards, and I'm too broke to afford another 15 dollar card. I'm also probably gonna skip O-Ring and go straight for Detention Sphere , just because it hits tokens harder.

I can't believe nobody has suggested Eldrazi Conscription that is my absolute favorite in my deck, I use Three Dreams to find it or Traumatize to play it out of my graveyard.

woops, just realized it is already in your deck, just ignore me :P

Heh. Of course it's there. It's one of the best auras in any Enchantress Voltron.

January 20, 2013 11:29 p.m.

I don't think meddling mage or leonin arbiter are doing much for you. They can easily kill mage before playing the spell that they are wanting to, and it's hard to even know what to name for it when in 4-player. With leonin, it's such a terrible lock in edh. Two mana is nothing in such an extended game length. I might say use something like Aven Mindcensor . I always like to have one combo to suddenly win with. I'd suggest putting Knowledge Pool in to lockdown all your opponents with when combined with Teferi.

Skyfolk says... #25

I don't want to be a huge asshole and lock the game. That's just not ever fun.

Arbiter is there to tax mana and slow down people, not lock anyone.

Meddling Mage is usually left alone if I call the right commander, so it has its uses.
