Well, made a couple of tests and this seems to run pretty well. The odds of having a 4 "heavy" creatures on turn 6/7 are high... and I just love Bloodbond March . Upvoted :)
Have you tested it on a FNM or something?

Naw man I just now pulled this idea out of my head. Will be putting it together soon.

Well, then post the results :) Good luck with the deck, the idea is great.

Hmm... I know you're happy with your deck, but a good endgame card to put in would be Progenitor Mimic . Being that it makes more tokens, you could make your Relentless Rats into an infinite army...
... I'm sorry, I just love overkill sometimes.

artakha theres no need to be sorry. I would totally run Progenitor Mimic and was considering it but it did not seem mana efficient to splash like that for 1 card. I love over kill as well.

This is great! I always imagine Relentless Rats as a mono-black deck for some reason, but this is such an awesome setup.

Also, if you want to deal with cards like Meddling Mage and Nevermore by preempting them, Bitter Ordeal is good, especially if stuff dies and/or you have enough mana to play it the same turn as Damnation .

I really like your suggestion of Bitter Ordeal . I will side deck it. I usually run multi colored decks so I typically have a hard time seeing a mono colored setup that works how I want.

I play tested it against my Knights of the Worldslayer and while the knights won a best 2 out of 3 at a score of 2-1 the rats held its own impressively causing the game to go over an hour beacuse when knights would get a lot of its stuff on the field it would get taken out by Damnation and the knights used Wrath of God and Worldslayer and kept evening the tides with these field wipes. It was funny.

This is a neat idea, but with only 20 land I'd worry about not being able to play some of the higher costed spells. +1

Pack Rat could also work well with any Relentless Rats deck, but especially well when running Bloodbond March as it then can give you extra value aside from being a really good rat to run turn 2 when you'll be essentially casting rats each turn from then on.

I dont like Door of destinies, its a high cost and you dont always cast a rat spell, it doesnt grow with ripple or doubling chant.
I would play instead some creature killer or permanent removal

I have considered that or Coat of Arms which I have tons of sitting around.

PriestessKikyo1 I like your idea. I am going to evaluate my deck and see if I can find a home for that card.
mateobadajoz2 I have not tested it in any live games yet but I ran a Simulation against my Knights of the Worldslayer deck. It seemed like it was moving a little slow and it still lost but it held its own against my knight deck pretty well.

Have you thought about having something like Parallel Lives or Doubling Season just to double up the amount of tokens you get out of the Doubling Chant?

For competitive I would remove-3 Door of Destinies -3 Thrumming Stone
and add+2 swamp+4 Abrupt Decay
What do you think?

10milesfromhome The only problem with Parallel Lives here is that Doubling Chant has you search for cards, not put tokens.
