How is Taigam's scheming working for you. You dont have Any graveyard interaction right?

This is probably one of the most thought out decks in terms of using cards that aren't just those types that you play and instantly know by itself, it will wreak havoc. I like the control style it is, and it is definitely going to be a pain in the butt to play against especially the first game, because it will take you by surprise. So I would say that this is a very inexpensive deck that will and probably has done some work. +1

Nice. I like it. Not sure about Triton Shorestalker, though. Doesn't seem like it's worth putting in there ... I would put in a black one drop like Tormented Hero, Gnarled Scarhide, or Bloodsoaked Champion for the devotion. The rest of it looks fun though. I had a deck with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Rescue from the Underworld for a while ... that was pretty fun. This make me want to put it back together.
Anyway, nice job. +1

Triton is the main target for nighthowler. Bloodsoaked is an amazing card but alters the howlers effectiveness in this build.

Has a good potential to get Lili to ultimate. Runs Waste Not effectively. Herald/Nighthowler. Bounce shenanigans. Plays a unique game.

Loving the hand hate in standard +1. If you have time I'd love any criticism on my version:

Hmmmm as requested I am taking a peek. This seems very friggen fun. Hahahaha.
What about Altar of the Brood, or delve to prosper from your graveyard fillers. Treasure Cruise or Dig Through Time or Murderous Cut?
Great build

Been pondering dig had the cut in there but settled with downfalls dig will make a place I love altar that's definitely a maybe that I hadn't thought about. Thank you for your input +1 to your soul!

you dont need Mana Confluence in a 2 colour deck, replace with Temple of Deceit

Not sure how effective Gary and Song are in the deck but a couple of counters aren't a bad thing to have against a little more control-y decks. I'd replace it with 3x Dissolve if your mana base can handle it. You've got a lot of options with cruel control so fill up your sideboard.
Instant speed bounce spells are always the best bounce spells so don't bother with Snare, try Voyage's End instead but if you still need creature and permanent removal, fill up your sideboard with Annul or Silence the Believers. End is instant speed and helps you move through your deck. Also, why aren't you running Mind Rot? +1
November 8, 2014 4:02 p.m.
Snare is a different type of bounce in my opinion being able to bounce any permanent for them to discard. Peel from is my creature bounce allowing me to bounce their threat and my skullhunter. Mind rot is strong but I've solidified the discard spells and bounce spell trying to keep em as cheap a possible. Thank you for your suggestions I'll definitely give them consideration ! +1 to your soul sir and happy buckfutting!

you're still running Nykthos and Confluence, I'm not entirely sure why? You have no need for lots of black mana, and as I said before, Confluence does not belong in a 2 colour deck
November 9, 2014 5:02 a.m.
I've planned on possibly loosing the nykthos as you are correct it is unnecessary sometimes I was just looking for a means to dropping multiple Grays in a turn or the same gray after bouncing it. Mana confluence helps smooth out The bb and the mana fixing with the variety of 1 drops I play extremely low lands considering most builds I see on here run 22-24 lands .

I think you should swap out Taigam's Scheming with either Black Cat, AEtherspouts or then more of Void Snare.
On your sideboard you should put 2X Bident of Thassa, 4X Curse of the Swine and 4X Daring Thief, the reason i say you should use Daring Thief is because you can exchange control of your weak stuff for their big stuff then return the card you gave then to your hand after to use it again and also have then gotten one of their permanents!
overall i like the idea but try to add more control or more methods to abuse Waste Not

Instead of Mana Confluence why not try the blue/black burn land as it can be used as colorless in the later game to save life.(Sorry cant remember the name of the land and i am to lazy to search it up.)

There isn't one in m15. The Standard legal pain lands are B/G, B/W, W/R, U/R, and U/G.

Great deck! I love it. I can not get enough of Mardu Skullhunter. It's one of my favourite commons. Using it with Quickling, Void Snare, and Peel from Reality is devious. Nice one.
November 10, 2014 7:37 a.m.
I would definitely put in some Black Cat , and maybe a couple of Ordeal of Erebos - another way to beef up the Triton and a little more discard when it pops. Choices Choices is my take on a Waste Not deck - no where near as fast as yours.
I also have to agree with Recklesspong - using Quickling, Void Snare, and Peel from Reality with the Skullhunter is devious as all hell!

you are running only two colors, I don't think Mana Confluence is a necessity. A good card to add could be Jace, the Living Guildpact for his -3 bounce ability, and his +1 to power Nighthowler and feed Dig Through Time
November 10, 2014 1:09 p.m.
You need 19 black mana sources to have in play for Hero's Downfall by turn three. Since you only run two Hero's, I would try to get your black mana pool to the 14-16 sources range.
Your mana base is a little low to run seven 3-drops and four 5-drops. I recommend at least 21 lands, maybe 22. I would go -1 Quickling and -1 Despise.
Let us know how the deck performs for you. +1 from me.
November 10, 2014 3:27 p.m.
You'd really have to mulligan hard for Waste Not. If that's not out the deck becomes a bit dodgier IMO. I second Mind Rot as being a good card here.

cool deck. take this +1 :). i would suggest some counters on the sideboard for when you match up against control. i think having your Mardu Skullhunter removed is really gonna hurt your game plan. also, if you can fit Liliana Vess and Waste Not in there, that would really be a buckfutt to your opponent :)
