OK Chrisb13 but just be aware that this was made as part of a budget building challenge, and might not play that well against other competitive Standard decks.
Good luck and I hope you have fun with it.

Thanks, biggieschmahls.
Celestial Flare is one of the most overlooked cards in Standard, but I've used it in most of my decks or Sideboards that have

SomeJustice here's a competitive version Blockage [Competitive Version] I made just for you, that seems to work.
I am notoriously bad at Sideboards, so feel free to change that.

Very nice deck. Will have to build it and give it a kick around against my wife lol.

Aw, poor wife.
Turk_February, if you built the more competitive version, Blockage [Competitive Version], and also built this, Ingest is Best I reckon they would be pretty well matched.
Then you and your wife would be able to battle it out for years to come!

How about Mirror Mockery?
You can do the combos Mirror Mockery + Reflector Mage or Mirror Mockery + Whirler Rogue

carlingomes I mentioned that this was made as part of a challenge so:
I'm not allowed to change it now that the challenge has started.
For the challenge you were not allowed to use any Rares or Mythic Rares.

Sounds similar to a variation of modern/casual me and my friends play. 15 Uncommons max, as many Commons as you can get your mits on, is fun and doesn't mean a person has to have the best cards ever.
P.s. really like the deck :).

Argeaux Well, from your answer, I believe that you're a girl... I am just amazed, because countless times have I tried to make my girlfriend to play mtg, but all my efforts went in vain...Nothing wrong with you being a girl... On the contrary, tis pretty amazing. Just for the record, there are not many girls playing mtg.
Anyways, common-uncommon decks, are the best! Went in a tournament with a common-uncommon deck and took the first place! The base of every deck(in my opinion), must be commons and uncommon cards. If we can find a better card, with another rarity , that has no drawbacks, then only we can replace our "cheap" cards. Nice deck, I wish you the best, gurl . :)

Kenthris, while I appreciate your enthusiasm for women in Magic, calling me "gurl" is not gender neutral language.
There are a few people on TappedOut striving to take gender out of the equation so we can just talk about cards.
Not all of us are female.
You make a good point that I'd never really considered. There are so many good Common and Uncommon cards.
I'd love to build a deck with just those that could do well at FNM, but unfortunately my skills aren't good enough.
I've made a more competitive version of this deck, using the method you outlined above and replacing some cards with better counterparts.
