Grixis Cruel Control

This Deck uses a Huge variety of counter, discard, burn and destruction (between Counterflux... Mizzium Mortars/Searing Spear/Pillar of Flame... Sever the Bloodline & Dreadbore, You've got the early to midgame just preventing any strategys developing.

Turn 5 Tends to see...
Lone Revenant - This decks namesake. His ability to select cards and the extra draw each turn (provided you can keep him unblocked) added to his hexproof makes him a pretty solid beater in a deck this control heavy

or

Rakdos's Return By this stage (depending on the presence of a Goblin Electromancer, you tend to be hitting for 3-4 damage with the same discard, hopefully reducing an opponent to top decking/minimal cards to counter

or

Hypersonic Dragon At the minute kind of a place holder until I get another Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius. Despite this it has been a solid beater and the ability to flash sorceries, especially Duress or Sever the Bloodline is a HUGE bonus.

or

Increasing Ambition Depending on your hand, go fishing for some fun turn 6, and dont forget the flashback for late game Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker

Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius My most constant gamewinner. So many cards and such a powerful beater.

Thoughts? tempted by Curiosity For the Lone Revenant and Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius Just for silly amounts of draw!

Still Haven't had a chance to look at dragons maze, once i start getting cards i can definitely see a Ral Zarek or two appearing and I'd love to throw a Rakdos, Lord of Riots in. He is funny
