Maybeboard

Budget version of "I've been rejected by death" by king-saproling where are cards are under 1$.

The combo is: our commander Hidetsugu and Kairi + any free sacrifice outlet + reanimation cards on top of our deck, or Hidetsugu and Kairi on the battlefield + any instant/sorcery clone effect. It's not an infinite combo per say, but it can probably do enough damage to kill all opponents if all of the pieces are out and our deck is built correctly.

The combo goes like this: Play the commander, Hidetsugu and Kairi, get the ETB and put a reanimation card, for example Rise Again on top. Then, sacrifice the Hidetsugu and Kairi to any free sacrifice outlet, like Woe Strider, and let them go to the graveyard rather than going back to the command zone, casting Rise Again for free with the death trigger, damaging an enemy for that cards CMC and bringing back the Hidetsugu and Kairi to start the process over again.

The process can also be started with clone effects, since the ETB and death triggers of the clone happen simultaneously when targeting Hidetsugu and Kairi (according to wallisface on tappedout.net, much thanks). In this case you clone your commander and then immediately sacrifice your original commander to the legend rule. You can choose to have the clones ETB happen before or after your commanders LTB since they are simultaneous, and so long as there is a Fated Return-esque card on top it doesn't really matter what order they happen in. Revive your commander, rinse and repeat (note: there is a nonbo here with Necromantic Selection, you can't revive a clone with it and if you revive your commander you won't have the clone to kill your commander with the legend rule).

Importantly we need a critical mass of instants and sorceries to have the best chance of stacking the top of our deck with them. They should make up about a third of the deck so that we're less likely to miss on a brainstorm.

Apart from the combo, many of our cards are good on their own, albeit mana intensive. Cards like Extract from Darkness for example are still pretty decent, especially against decks with big creatures to bring back, and we'll want a fair bit of ramp in order to cast our commander sooner anyway. Personally, I love this kind of deck, that it utilizes cards that are incredibly cheap and that don't see much play elsewhere because of their mana cost, but in this deck it's an upside.
