First question on your mind? "How does this deck win?"

Undercity Informer! What?!?

Yes! Each time you pay one mana and sac a creature you may mill your opponent! Between Ogre Slumlord and Xathrid Necromancer x4 you will find that you have plenty of bodies to kill off. Immortal Servitude should be used to re-summon an army of angry humans ready to die for you again and again!

Card explanations ~

Whip of Erebos is really only here for the liflink. It gives you the healing you need to stall as you slowly mill out your opponent. It should also help you recover life lost during the early game since you will be playing almost nothing before your 2nd or 3rd turn.

Ogre Slumlord's rats and High Priest of Penance are this deck's "scary blockers". with death touch and "destroy target permanent" laying around on the field other players hesitate to even attack with their creatures.

What the heck is Aerial Maneuver in here for? To give Blood Bairn flying. If they can't block, just sac creatures to feed it until it can "One shot" your opponent! ... Be careful though, this strategy puts all your eggs in one big flying basket!

It's a very quirky strategy but I think it could work!

  • This deck is very effective at blocking then-sac'ing creatures so that no combat takes place. This gives it a huge advantage against many opponents such as Boros Reckoner and Fiendslayer Paladin or other creatures with lifelink.

  • Unfortunately this doesn't work well against trample effects. Tramplers need to be Arrest'ed ASAP. our their damage life-linked back. Also none of the free creature spawns have flying, but flyers again can be targets of Arrest.

On another note I just realized that Frontline Medic can easily be used to kill poorly played Hydras! OMG!

Since we're talking about Hydras, think about playing Grisly Spectacle (from the sideboard) on a 32/32 Kalonian Hydra - LOL

In closing,

Is this deck unbeatable? Certainly not. Is it reliable? Yes. Is it versatile? Yes, it has more than one win condition. Is it inexpensive? Hell yea! That's why I designed it this way :)

As always all comments and compliments are very welcome!
