My attempt at building a somewhat budget version of the Modern deck RG Tron around my single copy of Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, gained back when Rise of the Eldrazi had just come out. This deck is NOT meant for competitive play, and therefore I feel I can forgo the majority of this deck's most expensive cards for less expensive options.

Myr Battlesphere stands in for Wurmcoil Engine, which many RG Tron decks seem to have as a 2-of. I've been extremely pleased with Battlesphere's performance in the games I've played with this deck thus far - when I win, it's usually because of them, and its casting cost makes it a perfect T3 play when I manage to get the Urzatron online that quickly.

Hedron Matrix replaces Karn Liberated to buff up Battlespheres or Emrakul. I'm considering switching to Sundering Titans in the future although Hedron Matrix has the benefit of making my attacks using Battlesphere or Emrakul that much more lethal.

Karplusan Forest, of course, stands in for the Burngrove Willows since it's pretty much the fastest modern dual-land option for the least amount of money.

I'm currently considering replacing Relic of Progenitus with something else, as graveyard hate is rarely a thing I need to have in my local semicasual meta. Then again, drawing cards is always a good thing. Spine of Ish Sah might be an option, as might going Temur, dropping a Battlesphere, and splashing in a playset of some blue card or another... I haven't really decided on any possibilities yet and this particular modification would be kind of a low-priority thing anyway.

Right now this is by far my favorite deck; I'm very, very pleased to have a strong home for my all-arts playset of the Chronicles Urzalands and my foil promo Emrakul.
