I recently picked up magic and bought the JOU event deck (bad decision I know). I thought it would be a good way to get into MTG, and I guess it was but the deck is not very competitive. I have been working with a guy at the LGS to see how we can improve it and we've made a few adjustments, such as the addition of Whelming Wave and Frostburn Weird . We're also trying to get our hands on another Young Pyromancer and a few Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius . I would like to know if there are any other suggestions, other than the obvious land upgrade (I can't spend a whole ton of money on it). Thanks for any help!
