Hello there! My name is Shawn, and this is my mono black discard deck designed for casual play. The point of this deck is to not only make your opponent discard their hand constantly, but also punish greatly for having to do so.
Turn 1: Start off by playing a one drop, such as Typhoid Rats or Pharika's Chosen. The deathtouch on these creatures protects you from any early game agression as well as allows you to set up your enchantments.
Turn 2: Get your Waste Not on the field. You should start making your opponent discard cards soon.
Turn 3: You should either play another defensive creature like Abyssal Gatekeeper or Typhoid Rats, start making your opponent discard cards with Duress or Mind Rot, or play one of your win conditions, Liliana's Caress.
Turn 4: If you have not played Liliana's Caress, play it now. Once you have both Waste Not and Liliana's Caress on the field it's time to make your opponent discard as much as possible.
Turn 5: Nothing in the deck goes over 3 mana, so you should be able to spam spells frequently now. Getting Stronghold Rats onto the field would also be great because it makes your opponent discard a card, can't be blocked, and synergizes well with Liliana's Caress
Turn 6: Your opponent should only have one to two cards left in their hand by now. If that is the case then go ahead and play Shrieking Affliction
Turn 7-10: Win the game XD
Side notes: If you aren't drawing enough discarding spells, then playing Nantuko Shade may not be a bad idea. You'll be able to go on the offensive with it on the field, and not many things can block it effectively because of it's ability. Playing Deadbridge Shaman wouldn't be a bad idea either. it's a 3/1 for 3 and when it dies your opponent discards a card.
