How the Deck Works

Combo:

[T1] Land

[T2] Land, cast Pollywog Symbiote

[T3] Land, cast Open the Omenpaths for , mutate Vadrok, Apex of Thunder , and start to loop!

Mutate any creature, Vadrok, Apex of Thunder cast Open the Omenpaths for any combination of needed, repeat

Draw:

Draw your whole deck using Dreamtail Heron , Vadrok, Apex of Thunder + See the Truth , and Pollywog Symbiote 's ability.

Win-Con:

Finish off the game by triggering the mutate ability on Insatiable Hemophage for lethal life drain!

Combo Support:

Flash in a Sea-Dasher Octopus if you didn't start with a Pollywog Symbiote for a body to mutate onto, and use it as a cheap creature to mutate with.

Ping down creatures with a Porcuparrot + Insatiable Hemophage stack.

Cast See the Truth to find your combo pieces, then recast it later from the graveyard using Vadrok, Apex of Thunder for a makeshift Ancestral Recall .

Fire Prophecy rounds out the deck to add some removal that also filters for your win conditions.

Sideboarding

Against Aggro?

Bring in extra removal/sweepers in the form of Cinderclasm , Redcap Melee , Scorching Dragonfire , and Storm's Wrath

Against Control?

Protect your combo or stop your opponent's gameplan with plenty of counterspells: Disdainful Stroke , Mystical Dispute , Negate , and Test of Talents .
