Budget Tazri Party Deck

Budget Tazri commander deck that heavily utilizes the party mechanic from the Zendikar Rising set.

Description of the deck

Possibly my favorite budget deck that I have constructed, the Tazri party deck is filled with an adventure theme that will take your opponents by storm. Utilizing all 5 colors (), it brings to the front creatures from the 4 classes that have been heavily inspired by DnD. They are: Rogue, Warrior, Wizard and Cleric. Most of the cards in this deck are all from the Zendikar Rising set and usually contain the "party" keyword in their text, making them all very synergistic with one another. The overall goal of the deck is to assemble a full party (one of each class) and utilize these synergistic abilities to chip away at your opponents. When you have a solid board state in place, cards like Mirror Entity and Strength of the Tajuru are great ways to close the game.

Combo finishers (late game)

One of the funnest ways to close out a late game would be through the utilization of the card Approach of the Second Sun . In this scenario, the ideal goal would be to have 11 mana available on your turn. 4 of these mana need to be from the colors: . With these in place and with Tazri on the field you can go ahead and play the Second Sun sorcery. Afterwards, on your next turn's up-keep you can activate Tazri's ability and move the next 6 cards of your deck to the bottom of your library. This leaves you with Approach of the Second Sun as the card that you draw for turn. After the second playing of the sorcery you insta-win the game. In a 1v1 situation, the ideal approach to go with would be the utilization of the artifact Door to Nothingness . For this, you would need 10 mana on the board, 2 for each color. While this may seem difficult to achieve at first, you can overcome the color discrepancy on your board by using cards such as Chromatic Lantern .
