for sideboard, Path of Exile and Swords to Plowshares , Last Breath , Blind Obedience , Pentarch Ward would go well onto Ajani's Pridemate for getting his attacks through. not sure how budget those cards are, I haven't price checked them.

its about $40 for a playset of each. Path to Exile might take me a little bit to get (they r $5 a piece which isnt too bad but its a really good card so idk if people will want to trade them and they r kinda hard to find)

I think he's top of your decks curve, and if you need more cards for that go for him but he doesn't bring you to a win so I'm unsure what you would take out for him

Brave the elements is a very good blowout card. I am confused why you don't run honor of the pure since it isn't expensive. Serra Ascendant and Path to exile are both good cards to think about investing in and Ranger obviously adds consistency. Another thought is aven mindcensors but those are expensive. You could add some of the death and taxes aspect to the deck as well such as leonin or thalia. Another thought is Hero of bladehold for a finisher. Kor firewalker is not needed in the side board soul sisters crushes monored already.
I have played many varients of soul sisters over the last year and this is what works for me. If I were to start on spending money you definitely should invest in a playset of paths first. They are the only removal in the deck and are needed.

thanks idk why im not running it ether.........i like the hero and think i prob can cuz the priests and a martyr and for them but i still have to think about it. i might add thalia but i dont think so.....if i do it will b sideboarded in against burn or any other spell heavy deck.

It's pretty money at arpund $10 apeice, but Soul Sisters is really kind of useless without Serra Ascendant . Without it, you really only have one creature that's big enough to hit people with, which isn't really enough to be a consistant deck. You have Chalice of Life  ^Flip , which might work, but certainly not as well. You could go the W/B route and throw in a playset of Vizkopa Guildmage as a cheaper card to turn your lifegain into a wincon. There are nice, cheap dual lands in Modern. I advise Isolated Chapel and Caves of Koilos .

Also, the Disenchant in your sideboard should really be Sundering Growth . It doesn't usually make a difference, but it's never worse because all of your lands tap for white, and once in a while it'll be better because of your Spectral Procession .

I've been looking to get into Modern, and I'm going to put together a deck a lot like this one, though less budgeted. I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look at Soul Sisters ~or~ I Want to See More of This Deck.

Abridged comment: Splash black for Vizkopa Guildmage , Disenchant -> Sundering Growth

this is just a budget version of the version i will be making. this being my first modern deck im acualy making i have no modern cards what so ever! so this is a starting place for me. you are right when you say sundering growth should replace disenchant. i like the idea of splash black but like i just said this is a budget version of the deck i will be making this is just a starting point so i can play modern cuz some of the other cards the the full version are expencive and/or hard to find (or at least get!) the chalice as been working out fine. sure serra ascendant is better but she is also $10. the chalice ,however, is $0.50. i will be getting the ascendants but as of right now i dont have them. the chalices are also unexpected......and are harder to remove.

If there is that many Tron/Affinity players at your Locals, then I would main 4 Stony Silence lol.But yeah Serra Ascendent you need. Honor of the Pure, Path to Exile, and Archangel of Thune wouldn't hurt either.

Looks like it has a really good consistent strategy to it. I would recommend Twilight Drover to feed your life gaining creatures because if you run out of cards in your hand it lets you keep summoning creatures. Also, watch out for burn decks with cards like Gelectrode such as my Izzet Says No! deck.

i like the drover but i dont have a lot of tokens.....without tokens twilight drover is kinda useless. ill playtest him but i dont know if he will make the cut

First of all: Awesome Deck. You definitely have my upvote for building a legitimate Sisters deck for under $100.

I have been playtesting this against my Ajani Aggro (Soul Sisters Mod) deck (Which strays pretty far from the archetype) and the matchup is ridiculous. My deck is more aggressive, but yours is more efficient at gaining life. The games go on for sooo long, but in the end, it seems that I am able to push through damage faster than your deck can recover, at least in the playtests I ran. I'd love to play you in person.

How have you been faring in tournaments with this deck?

Budget "$128"

128 is super budget for a modern deck. this has also not been updated for 2 years so.

FYI, in the past nine months, the price/value of this deck has increased from $91 to $127, almost entirely due to increases in the prices of the sideboard cards. I know this because I saved a cached copy on 10/26/15.

asasinater13 -- I agree that under $200 definitely qualifies as budget for Modern. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that your username has three typographical errors. So there was probably no reason to add your age to the end of it because of how unlikely it is that anybody else on this website spelled the word as incorrectly as you did.
