There's not much "Fog " spells in here. Try card:Druid's Deliverance, and maybe Terrifying Presence . Also, Sleep would be good to fit into this deck, as it counts for 2 Fog s in one card.

i like Righteous Authority here though i'd suggest running Otherworld Atlas to provide more support for your draws. sure, your opponent gets to draw, it's not going to help them seeing as you can easily fog away their attacks, though you might have some trouble against decks like RDW in which case I'd side in Witchbane Orb . If push comes to shove and they Slaughter Games away your Jaces I guess it'd be a good idea to run Elixir of Immortality so you can outlast them without any targeted milling spells

I appreciate the sideboard suggestions. I always have some trouble thinking of what to put in.

Syncopate I don't think would work to well, here, considering the only time you would cast it is if you have 1 more open mana than them. So then, they could make you tap out, then take a ton of damage to the face because you don't have mana enough even for a fog. I'd replace the Syncopate s with card:Druid's Deliverance.

card:Druid's Deliverance works ideally if I have tokens. Seeing as I lack said tokens, the extra 1 mana for a Fog is void. (Clinging Mists has a Fateful Hour that is useful, which is why I don't complain about its mana). Perhaps Spare from Evil , seeing as most decks use non-humans?

You're still using Terrifying Presence , and that still makes one creature deal damage. There isn't too many great Fog spells in standard, but card:Druid's Deliverance is one of the better ones (regardless of tokens). It does the same thing as Terrifying Presence , but prevents ALL combat damage. Spare from Evil only gives your creatures protection, so the question now, is how often is your Invisible Stalker going to be untapped to receive said protection?

I was thinking something along the lines of this: Yet another turbofog (budget)

Since when is a $112 deck considered a budget deck?

$60 of it is contributed by the placeholder Breeding Pool s (for Simic Guildgate). Take that out and it's approx. $56.

If Jace is going to be a major win condition, you'll want fogs that protect him and not just you. Those would be Fog , Moonmist , and Clinging Mists . That's only if you're trying to protect planeswalkers, though.

I fail to really see how this is budget with card:Sphinx's Revelation and Shock-lands.

I'd like to restate that the Breeding Pool s are placeholders for Simic Guildgate for maybe the third time.

I offer my apologies, but I could do without the 'tude, bro.

Don't feel like helping you out much anymore.

I like the Trollery, but oof! the card quantity is scary bad. Lemme 'splain something to you.

4 Ofs

You should have 4 of a card if...

-It's absolutely necessary to the plan

-It gets better with more of them

-They're good at any time in the game

-You wouldn't mind having 3 of them in your hand at once

3 Ofs

You should only have 3 of a card if...

-Getting only one is enough

-They contribute to the plan but aren't a necessity

-They work well with the 4 Ofs

2 Ofs

2 is a quantity that should mostly be avoided, seeing as how you can never reliably draw one when you'll need it because it's outnumbered by all the other cards (statistics bro). But you can still have 2 Ofs if...

-The card in question is so similar to a 3 Of or 4 Of that it's basically the same thing (Clinging Mists + Fog )

1 Ofs (Sometimes called Loxodon Warhammer s)

You should only have 1 of a card if...

-It follows the 2 Of rule

-It would rarely work or come in handy, but can be a table-turner if it does

You can trust this info because I got from the Wizards website (the guy always talking about adding more lands wrote the article). I'd post a link but I can't find it again. With this in mind you can reconstruct your deck like a proper gent!
