Yah i think so to. I need more stuff though to protect Midnight Guard so i can put Presence of Gond on him

Yeah I actually think Valorous Stance is bad. Try Stave Off like effects, Gods Willing is nice because of scry, Apostle's Blessing is nice because you can cast it if you have only green mana and also protects the Altar.

Also Sunstrike Legionnaire is not modern legal, if I figure something that could be in his place I tell you

Most of everyone with a budget is going to do the Midnight Presence combo deck including myself.Either way,+1.

Yea I go to tournaments for modern and i have never seen anyone use this. It is not used as much as it should be in my opinion. But overall Midnight Gond is a really cool combo.

Can confirm this works well, won 2 fnm's and came top 3 at 3 others with it. Can go off turn 3 with draws that aren't that hard with the way the deck is made. I recommend sideboarding fog and holy day. My fnm meta has quite a bit of aggro so it helps me get through the turns I don't have the combo

Well it works....unless you're facing infect. But a good suggestion none the less, I may add that into the deck, and thanks for the +1

Still works against infect. infect still counts as combat damage, just dealt in a different way

If you add the hubs Tokens, Selesnya, Infinite Combo, Mill it will cycle in more hubs every time you deckcycle, so will get more views and upvotes. Also put on your home page! You gotta show off these high-vote decks :)

Why run Felidar Sovereign when you could run Aetherflux Reservoir?

PurpleGame0: Although Felidar Sovereign is a good card for a deck that gains infinite life. It is just not fast enough to win. My LGS usually can lock someone down or even win the game around turn 4 so that is my goal. I'll also update the description to show what "I" think the perfect hand is and how fast you want to win with this.
buildingadeck: I would say the same thing for your suggestion of Aetherflux Reservoir. Why would I want to have another alternative way to kill them if I already have infinite tokens, mill, and lifegain? Plus it is not fast enough to kill them with anyway because by the time I have enough mana to cast Aetherflux Reservoir I should already have at least one combo going.
Thank you both for the suggestions none the less and checking the deck out. If you have anymore suggestions I will take them into consideration

Infinite life doesn't kill anyone in a combo more fragile than Melira decks, and the infinite mill effects can't kill Tron decks. You don't have Eternal Witness, and all your pieces die to Abrupt Decay. I didn't look at the decklist when I posted; I was merely noting that Sovereign is weaker than Reservoir since it has to wait and is 2 cmc higher in cost. No Path to Exile in a white deck makes no sense, especially since it's getting a reprint and should be cheap to pick up. Those are my actual suggestions.

buildingadeck: I will take the Blossoming Defense over Ranger's Guile because it does not take the "extreme budget" away and it is better. But unless Path to Exile goes down to around 3-4 dollars I do not see putting anything more expensive than 3 bucks in here, although it would be a really good card. What is your opinion on putting in Condemn instead. The most expensive card I have in this deck is Soul Warden. I would like to get Eternal Witness but I do not want to actually post it on this decklist. I want the deck to stay below $30. I will probably try to make a competitive version of this in the future.
Once again thanks for the suggestions! You have been a big help and I will start working on the competitive version of this deck if possible today!!!

Condemn is highly limited. For instance, Ulamog's attack trigger still happens cuz you have to wait for him to attack. Or you can't punch damage through a blocker. It can be okay, though. Path will likely drop to the $5-7 range, if that's affordable.

Famished Paladin can be another midnight guard, if you have a Soul Warden out and can actually make you combo sooner, turn 1 Soul Warden, turn 2 famished paladin, turn 3 presence of gond. If won a few games like this and lost a few because the person didnt concede because you cant go infinite on mtgo, but in paper its easier to get the win when you just have 1000000 life and you just wait for them to deck themselves

frogkill45: I may just change the entire deck to fit around Famished Paladin instead of Midnight Guard. I never realized this and it could make this deck way better. Mega thanks for the suggestion and I'll start changing the deck pretty soon.

Nice. I'm still thinking that Midnight Presence will see some space in modern! This may be a good starting point
