Really liked your video. Singing Bell Strike is great blue ''removal'. It's nice to see a deck that gets to utilize Battlewise Hoplite . He seems like an amazing combination of value.

so i tried this out against my $300 mardu aggro control deck and the onlt reason my deck was actually able to win the match was because the last game i drew 3 Deflecting Palm . it was kinda funny

Confused on Eidolon of Countless Battles propose in this deck?

Beefsteakers this deck is full of enchantments and he could get really big. His bestow cost could also be lowered by Hero of Iroas .

LOL guess you didnt like my comment that this is a exact copy of Tom Ross's deck but you use cheap land... seems you deleted it... all you should do is give Tom credit

Draven3875 I gave Tom Ross credit in the bibliography of the video. From the description: "Bibliography:This deck is based on Tom Ross' WU Heroic build, but largely with the mana base changed to a more budget build. What attracted me to the deck was that several similar versions were showing up on Magic Online and winning successfully. Since it is only two color, I feel very safe simplifying the mana base."
If you feel that is insufficient credit, I am sorry. Perhaps I shall give a verbal bibliography in future videos if the deck is similar. I actually worked backwards to Tom's original deck from the MTGO results. My goal was creating a budget version and I was more interested in the fact the deck could be successfully put together for $20 than lifting anyone's work.
I will absolutely acknowledge that I have worded things awkwardly on these TappedOut decklists, which serve primarily as archival lists for the channel. No deck is a 100% original creation of mine, nor did I ever intentionally claim it to be, however I can see how my wording of "I built for the video" can be misleading, and I think I will change all of those generic texts to "I showed off in the video."

This is a very nice deck. Where can it be upgraded? Temples are a very obvious addition, but what else?

@Jayfeather Dragonfly123 was asking how it could be upgraded. I provided suggestions based on my experiences and opinions.

Possibly Feat of Resistance would work really well here too; it triggers the Heroic, gives protection, and adds an extra +1/+1. Not sure if the extra mana is worth the extra +1/+1, though. Also Spectra Ward mainboard, and Banishing Light sideboard.

@ Mrtwiddles Spectra Ward is a bit pricey for a deck that aims to be relatively fast. 3CMC should be the top of the curve. Banishing Light is great, but isn't it sort of costly?

For a non-budget build, Banishing Light s would be great though. I think that Feat of Resistance is just too slow, and maybe Fabled Hero or Battle Mastery are better ideas for something that might give you an edge late-game. Not sure though; if Feat works for you, then great!

Mathe add in some Battlefield Thaumaturge and Launch the Fleet for aggressiveness. I may put this together and see where it gets me. Play temples and flooded strand and it seems pretty competitive even! Nice job on building a $20 deck that would probably just ruin most people's lives.

Triton Tactics is a beast card for any heroic deck playing blue. It definitely deserves some consideration at least as sideboard meat. So much drown in sorrow and bile blight and magma jet and lightning strike and even doomwake giant and anger of the gods. Thats enough reasons right there why tactics is good.

Isn't this essentially the same thing as The Second Best $20 You'll Ever Spend KTK?
Abuteetti says... #1
I think Plains would be better than Mountain for an UW deck :)
