A budgeted blue white control, focused on winning with Azor's Elocutors. Planning on using it against my friends in causal multiplayer games.
In your first couple turns, you want to get out an Aegis of the Gods and hopefully a Fog Bank in order to protect yourself from both combat and non-combat damage.
Then comes the instants. There are plenty to protect you while you get your other cards out. Dawn Charm is great, as it can also work as a counter. Other cards that protect against combat damage are Ethereal Haze and Safe Passage, which also protects against non-combat damage.
Of course, there are other ways to protect yourself. Counterspells include Dispersal Shield, Hindering Light, and Render Silent, while Cyclonic Rift can get rid of any pesky permanent or even remove the opponent's entire field with its overload. War Tax helps in the midgame to slow down your opponent, while Palisade Giant can also come in handy in the late game, especially when paired with Heart of Light.
Once you get Azor's Elocutors out there, you should have no problem winning. Especially if you have Alexi's Cloak enchanting it and Palisade Giant out there protecting it, you're all set to win in the minimum five turns. If you don't manage to draw one, Demand can help ensure you have one to play it as soon as possible.
Anyway, let me know what you think and +1 if you like. Like I said, it's budgeted, so please don't suggest any cards that cost more than a dollar or two.
