I'm a fan of Read the Bones over Pilfered Plans . I think the scry/draw outweighs the 2 mill, even for the cost of 2 life.

Ok well first thing I notice is that you have some cards here that are no longer Standard legal such as Jace and overgrown tomb grisly salvage psychic spiral deathrite shaman. Find replacements for those first . What is your main win condition with this deck? BTW you have created alot of decks bro Keep it up !!

Cool Aetherling is tough . Wow my bad I was looking at the symbol for returen to Ravnica and thinking it was Innistrad block. that opens up alot of cards for me too. Thanks bro.

I don't agree with that. It's a great sideboard card, but only useful against aggro. It's not something you want to draw into against Midrange or Control.

you have a good point. I also think that a few Returned Phalanx would be good in the side board

I understand you want control, but I've found Midrange to work much better. Try re-working it to a midrange of your liking, then I can give a proper review.

Wow this deck kinda makes my head spin. One thing I saw that i really like was the Vraska the unseen though. Not standard legal but Vraska and artful dodge would be a great combo. Just keep refining. Also you have alot of decks created on here. I would pick my best deck and master it . I have been tuning my Mill deck hard and its getting pretty sweet! Also my standard deck Centerfold is straight power. Magic is all about synergy and any time you can ramp mana or get an extra turn you gain the advantage too.

I think you should drop the black and go for green blue instead. then you could mana ramp with sylvans and Nyktho's shrine to nyx. Throw in 4 elvish mystics for even more mana. Then I would run 4 aetherling and 4 shipbreakers. arbor colossus ramps up shrine for green. From what I gather the theros set is really trying to get away from multicolored decks and i dont feel anything over 2 colors with a splash of 3 is even possible in standard now.

i like the two color idea. I really like to have the black for the removal and various card advantage engines. What about it was confusing. oh and it is still in the testing phases (FNM) but it is quite sweet to use. I just need a steadier play group. It works real well against the decks at my FNM but dies to agro. I love the Shipbreaker Kraken so i may add one to the sidboard for the agro matches, since it can lockdown multiple attackers. The Sylvan Caryatid also work wonders against some decks. I want to know what you think of Reap Intellect ? Oh and i make so many decks to try out some gimmicks or crazy ideas just for fun. thanks dude. sorry, but it will stay three color. i need some shocks though.

If you're going two color, I'd lock down Golgari.

Reap intellect is a great removal tool. Last night i played my budget sliver deck and got taken out hardcore. One person defeated me with insane combos using evolve. That is an aspect of the new standard I was unaware of. Another one got me with flyers and creature removal. Then I lost to a card that returned all my creatures to my hand. My deck was not done and I knew it but even if it would have been I still need an answer to that return to hand boardwipe. Ideas?

I think the only way not to get blown out hard core by AEtherize is to restrain your self when you suspect it could happen. Probably keep you mana producers and a Blur Sliver back so you can resume the assualt next turn. as for evolve combos.. instant speed burn or Pacifism effects. One guy at my FNM plays simic evolve combo and i faced him with an earlier version of this deck and i lost 1/2 but my removal made all the difference against him. just watch out for Simic Charm that thing can be a blowout. as for the flyers Tower Defense or Gruul Charm both work for the sideboard. as for the amount of removal, i think Mistcutter Hydra could possibly work but Skylasher would be a fine investment for the side board.

Those are some good suggestions. I hadnt even taken into account the return all creatures to hand type of removal. As a matter of fact I didnt even know it existed. The card that was used against me was not aetherize though. I cant recall what it was but instead of return all attacking creatures it returned all creatures that dealt combat damage and it was I believe only a 3 drop card . I know better now than to ever attack with my mana producers or blurs.Thanks for the tip. I actually had a burn sideboard but for some reason I didnt swap it out . I had no answer to the fliers but Im going to add 4 Galerider Sliver .
