READ HERE! IMPORTANT!

This is a BUG control deck based around the new card Plasm Capture. The deck splashes white for Sphinx's Revelation and the Blood Baron of Vizkopa. Also splashing red for the oh so powerful Rakdos's Return. As tappedout is a bit slow on the cards, there are some proxy cards in the deck so don't get surprised.

Feel free to give my any suggestions and I will always appreciate a +1 :) Thanks!

Odd Card Choices - Spoiler: It's VERY LONG

Plasm Capture - Fell in love with this card when they spoiled this. I kept on thinking the different possibilities with the mana that this spell provides. One might say it's a overcosted Mana Drain, but as it provides any combination of color, I can easily cast my X spells (Sphinx's Revelation, Rakdos's Return, Gaze of Granite, Reap Intellect) to gain value in all sorts of way. The mana can be also used to cast some of my most powerful permanents (Thragtusk, Vraska the Unseen, Blood Baron of Vizkopa. Essentially the turn after I counter something with this, I am able to do something big. Real big.

Blood Baron of Vizkopa - I needed a finisher when I decided to build this deck. I have thought of stuff like Obzedat, Ghost Council, but I think the Baron will be more suitable in this deck. If a 4/4 lifelink with double protection is not good enough, what about a 10/10 flyer with lifelink? Some might say that the second part of the Blood Baron is very hard to reach, but I think it is not actually that hard in this deck. 2 Thragtusk brings me up 10 life, not to mention the Sphinx's Revelation that could also gain me life too. For getting them down 10 life, again 2 Thragtusk swings are already 10 life, and there is also the Rakdos's Return that can potentially bring them down to 10 life, especially with the shocklands these days. I might switch the Blood Baron to Obzedat at some point if I think it's not good enough, but I'm pretty sure the Blood Baron is just perfect for this deck, as white and black in standard provides the best removals, so being near immune to removal in such a format is a very great thing to have.

Reap Intellect - The X version of Lobotomy. If you look at this card from the bad side, it's a 5 mana for a Lobotomy, but from the good side, it's 9 mana for 5 copies of Lobotomy. People might bring up that this card have the same problem with Diabolic Revelation. If you have that much mana, shouldn't you be winning already? This is just a win more card! Reap Intellect is SWEET against control matchups, but are not as good in aggro matchups. The good thing about this deck is that I can generate quite a lot of mana in 1 turn, assuming that I Plasm Captured a spell the previous turn, making these X spells very easy to cast, and sometimes might even have the mana to cast another one next turn. Reap Intellect just acts as a giant mana sink in this deck as it DESTROYS control decks and it slow down aggro decks, especially those who have Ghor-Clan Rampager in their hand everygame, and only bloodrushes them instead of playing them. What do you do? DISCARD ALL THE RAMPAGERS!

Arbor Elf - I know this card seems weird in a control deck, but believe me. He does a lot of work. This deck's mana base needs to be very good to cast a turn 3 Plasm Capture (if needed) and Arbor Elf helps me achieve that just a bit more easily. 3 Farseek just cant always get the mana right, but with 2 Arbor Elf, the mana base is just that much better.
