IDEA / GAME PLAN

Daretti's first & second ability are actually 2 function combined.

• +2 Discard / Draw Cards

• -2 Sacrifice / Reanimate Artifact

So I'm focusing on both of them and ETB value.

His second ability, exchanging artifacts also can cheat the cost.

The best opening hand is 2~3 lands with 1~2 manarocks, and some good quality artifact.

Cast mana rock, and discard high CMC artifacts, lands, or something you don't need immediately.

Play lands after Daretti's discard/draw. Your lands could be reuse from the graveyard by Crucible of Worlds.

Defense your Commander is not for the ultimate, but for the discards/cards draw engine mainly.

When you hit some other cards can do the discard & draw thing. Now you can break the pattern, use Daretti's reanimate and surprise!

Ramp

• Mox Diamond

  Excessive land cards are resources.

  Because there are too many colorless cards in this deck, so Chrome Mox is meh.

  And Mox Opal is not guaranteed to ramp me in turn 2.

• Lotus Petal, Jeweled Lotus

  Artifact rituals.

• Mana Crypt, Sol Ring

  No reason not to.

• Expedition Map + Ancient Tomb

  A turn 2 ramp, like Wayfarer's Bauble. But in this deck, I need to tutor lands likes Valakut makes it better than Bauble.

• Dockside Extortionist, Strike it Rich

  Treasure ramps. Currency Converter may ramp you later.

• Mana Vault, Grim Monolith

  Doesn't need to {UNTAP}, just for fast mana and reanimate.

• Arcane Signet, Fellwar Stone, Mind Stone, Liquimetal Torque

  Best {2} CMC rock in mono-color.

  Mind Stone also has an activated ability worth you to copy.

  Liquimetal Torque also do some cool trick with Goblin Welder.

• Cursed Mirror

  An ETB-Value mirror for Kiki to break! Why not?

• Jeska's Will

  A ritual with some card advantage.

• Solemn Simulacrum

  Ramp you in the early game, and Bolt with Valakut in the late game.

Draw / Discard

• Faithless Looting

  Needless to say.

• Alhammarret's Archive

  Best card it is. Make Commander+2 draw 2 more cards, or pair with Panharmonicon make ETB draw 4 times the original quantity.

• Cavalier of Flame, Seasoned Pyromancer, Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion

  The first two are Kiki-Jiki's new friends.

  If you had Neheb in your opening hands, you should cast him before Daretti.

• Sandstone Oracle

  Usually, dump into your graveyard first. Can give you lots of cards in the late game.

• Squee, Goblin Nabob, Currency Converter, Conspiracy Theorist, Containment Construct

  Discard synergy.

• Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Misfortune

  Wheel brothers.

BTW Reliquary Tower & Thought Vessel aren't suitable with this deck, when you discard the right card in the graveyard can get more advantages.

• Chandra, Flamecaller

  Great budget card, a flexible card always sounds good.

Removal / Defense

23 Creatures plus 2 Manlands.

• Duplicant, Meteor Golem, Chaos Warp

  Deal with almost everything, don't need to risk Wild Magic Surge.

• All Is Dust, Blasphemous Act

  Artifacts are all you need.

  One {R} mana wrath, cool.

• Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Nevinyrral's Disk

  The real deal is, to cast it with Electrodominance or Zealous Conscripts.

  Those permanent wraths are the best picks. I don't use massive land destruction spells to ruin fun now...

• Glacial Crevasses

  Yes! Red Fog! But you ganna watch out Mindslaver or Emrakul, etc.

• Valakut, Vesuva, Thespian's Stage

  When you have two Valakut, then fetch a land could deal 6... Or copy it to fetch one more...

• Red Elemental Blast

  Blue is too mean!

• Scrap Mastery, Vandalblast, Fiery Confluence, Abrade

  Remove artifacts like a boss, Liquimetal Torque shenanigan!

Combo

• Mycosynth Lattice + Vandalblast Explode every permanent but yours. Or Scrap Mastery reanimate whole your graveyard.

• Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts Infinite attackers. Or use ETB like Myr Battlesphere, Seasoned Pyromancer to make more tokens.

• Darksteel Forge + Nevinyrral's Disk Repeatable wrath.

• Dockside Extortionist + Mycosynth Lattice For tons of treasure.

• Rings of Brighthearth + Strip Mine or Fetch Lands.

• Crucible of Worlds + Wasteland etc.

• Alhammarret's Archive + Wheel of Fortune give you power!!!

• Planar Bridge + Rings of Brighthearth {10} fetch combo win.

• Krark-Clan Ironworks + Sculpting Steel + Spine of Ish Sah {1} repeatable removal.

• Surly Badgersaur + Chandra, Flamecaller much more value.
