Hey Greg !

For the moment i just did 3/4 games with my friends, and the deck is running really good. I think i have to improve my early game, i think i'm too passive. And still have to learn combos. Most of my friends are playing infinite combo, so you can imagine isnt that funny to ramp and try to do some move when they infinite at T4/T5. But otherwise i love the deck, i'm a Tron / Eldrazi player in Modern, so i fall immediatly in love with ur deck when i found it. Thanks again.

Concerning the background, tbh, the usual Tapped out was perfect !

I'll give you more reviews when i will play more.

Been monitoring your deck for a while now. Pretty awesome stuff. Congrats on the idea! Could you see any use for Wake the Past? Seems to mesh well with Alibou, Ancient Witness. I suppose Finale of Devastation already fills a similar role. Definitely inspired! I'm going to try out a similar deck (talent borrows, genius steals) at my LGS soon. I used to play Affinity in Modern and am glad to have found some use for at least one of my old Opals (and Overseers). Cheers!

To betomindslav,

Thanks for keeping up with my deck, It has become my pet project. I think Wake the Past is strong in this shell and can be a game-ending play. However, I would change some of the creatures that don't work with Wake the Past. Wake the Past can't reanimate Goldspan Dragon or any of the splicer. I could change some of these types of cards to other artifact creatures with ETB effects like Myr Battlesphere. Let me know how your brew goes and I'll look at it if you post it on Tappedout. Modern Tron was my favorite competitive, hands down. I'm debating on making different variations of this shell with different combinations of color. Thanks!

In your Ramp section you mentioned flickering/abusing Sad Robot, have you consider swapping one basic forest for a basic mountain? I say this since you also have green urborg, and would help guarantee your minimum color requirement for the deck.

In the Artifact Tokens section, Triplicate Titan has a typo, (...,one -with- per keyword.) With is the word to delete.

To SpecimeN87,

Thanks for catching the typos in my guides. As for the mountain, I'll implement that change. With Nissa, the value of a basic forest drops. Thanks!

Sweet list! I dont play much commander, so i dont know many of the commander cards, but phyrexian triniform would be pretty insane in making a million golems and buffing them

Hey I want to say thank you for making a tron deck in EDH that is viable ad freakin' awesome please excuse me netdecking and posting on moxfield I credited your list. Love the deck man, curious to who the commanders where before Ich-

To Kadj,

Thanks for stopping by and for the compliment! I have mixed feelings about Phyrexian Triniform. Originally, I was super hype for this card. Then shortly after, they print Triplicate Titan, which I think is just a straight upgrade. Yes, Triniform has the burst option for , but how often do I want to spend to encore for a vanilla 9/9? I also don’t like that Triniform is gone for the rest of the game after the encore play. Even with the encore option, I think Triplicate Titan is just a beater beater, especially with Goblin Welder. As well, it leaves better golems and is more recycle friendly. Even with golem support, I think Triplicate Titan is just the strictly better option.

To MFBOOM,

No problem and thanks! I’m still surprised how much this concept has evolved and how effectively it performs. I have no problem with you netdecking me. Actually, could you post your link to Moxfield? I like to compare what other players are doing with the list.

Before the homie Ich-T, the commander of this deck was Marath, Will of the Wild. The previous iteration just made all the tokens, boardstalled so that people couldn’t attack me, had Purphoros to ping the table, and ultimated planeswalkers, and Craterhoofed as a finisher. It was really fun. However, I found that most of the time I played I would just get infinite mana and ping the table with Marath because it was the most efficient thing to do. Because I was always following that line of play, it was just better to play another one of my decks that did the same thing except better. Thus, I felt the need to remove Marath as the commander to encourage the kinds of play I originally wanted to do. I had my eye on Ich-T since his release and had been brainstorming Tron EDH at that time as well.

Great looking brew. Only card I know worth considering is Brass's Bounty as it can be played on a set up turn and with both your commander's you will probably win the next turn. Kinda slow wincon though. I have a few other ideas from a golos treasure tribal deck I had I'll have to check if I wrote down my decklist. Wincon was generally big splashy spells.

To IHATENAMES,

My problem with Brass's Bounty is that my ramp is more artifact based rather than land based. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem play this on turn 4. However, it is typically only grant me four treasure tokens. For this build, Brass's Bounty doesn't play that well. Thanks for stopping by this build

+1 Cool deck, nice description. Read through half of it before I process anything further but from what I can tell, the deck seems really solid.

Sensei's Divining Top - Generally helpful, albeit not needed. It works well with mystic forge. If you had an artifact cost reducer (Ugin ineffable, cloud key, semblance anvil, etc...), then you could draw your entire deck.

Rip Apart - I feel like there are better cards, I wish I could think of one at the moment. I'll get back to you on that, but it seems subpar, how has it been for you?

I don't see too much draw, removal or wipes in your deck. I take it you're going for full on synergy and relying on the table take out threats when needed? Not to say you don't have removal or draw, just seems on the lighter side. What are your thoughts?

To Profet93,

Thanks for stopping by! Sensei's Divining Top is a good suggestion. I think I went through a phase where most of my decks had SDT and didn’t use it properly. As for Rip Apart, it has been good enough. Rip Apart has the flexibility that I want in my removal. However, it is sorcery speed and doesn’t have a colorless cost. I’m willing to swap this with something else for testing purposes.

I don't see too much draw, removal or wipes in your deck. I take it you're going for full on synergy and relying on the table to take out threats when needed? Not to say you don't have removal or draw, just seems on the lighter side. What are your thoughts?

My philosophy on board wipes is this; I’m the aggro/mid-range player and they can boardwipe me. If I need to wipe the board as the aggro player, I’m already behind, as it is. As well, there is no efficient way to tutor a board wipe in Naya. I play board wipes in combo or control decks. However, I do have Ugin, the Spirit Dragon to acts as a board wipe if I need it.

As for draw effects, I think this deck has more than you might think. Though it doesn’t have instants that draw, this deck has plenty of tutoring and recycling. Chromatic Sphere, Chromatic Star, Ichor Wellspring, and Soul-Guide Lantern are my cheaper draw cards. Esper Sentinel acts as a artifact-based Mystic Remora and Solemn Simulacrum ramps and draws a card. More importantly, all of these cards are recurrable. Goblin Engineer tutoring Ichor Wellspring steps up a strong draw engine. Same with Goblin Welder. Each of the above artifacts are great targets for recycling loops. Remember, I can also use Oswald Fiddlebender to tutor for a draw based artifact.

As for removal, I can see your point. I can add more instant speed removal. However, there is removal in the deck. Alibou, Ancient Witness pings any target based on the number of tapped artifacts, which is plenty most of the time. Same story with Terror of the Peaks, which pings when a creature enters the battlefield. Meteor Golem is a catch- all removal that is cheated most of the time. I find myself leaning most on Walking Ballista to mow down the field. If I were to swap Rip Apart, I think i would add Nature's Claim, Force of Vigor, Abrade, and/or Dromoka's Command (because of instant speed +1/+1). I’m looking at this more than creature removal because this deck loves to force bad blocks. This deck shuffles counters so much that it makes blocking a nightmare.

What about Generous Gift?

1) Are you excited by the Tron-friendly cards that have been spoiled from Brother's War?

2) I've frequently thought about building a 5-color Tron-like deck for Ramos, Dragon Engine. Do you think that could work?

Sorry, no actual suggestions. Just sourcing out ideas/opinions.

Cheers!

To turkinaa

I run Beast Within over Generous Gift because the deck’s primary color is . For whatever reason, I will switch to Generous Gift is becomes the main color.

To Epicurus

I was more than excited for The Brother’s War to release. I figured that there would be good cards, but this set exceeded expectations. I’m a little sad that there weren’t any splicer, but that is most likely coming up in the next two sets. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of artifact love that got. There is plenty of potential to play with in this set.

You could definitely make a 5-color Tron building. I think Ramos, Dragon Engine or Jodah, Archmage Eternal would be best. I would just add plenty of ways to filter into colored mana. Obviously, more colors provided better sweepers, like Supreme Verdict. Unlike this current build, I would add more land ramp to ensure you see the tron lands. Especially with the newest Urza land, 5 color Tron can be a thing.

To iMechanic,

Thanks. I really appreciate that.Tgus is probably my favorite of the decks I have. Between The Brother's War and the upcoming sets, I'm excited to keep tinkering with this build. As well, it's a fun challenge to make a low-ti-mid power pairing into something playable.

Checked back here to see if you were running Expedited Inheritance - have you given it a go?

Trying it in my Rocco list and having lots of fun with it.

To SandwichMan007,

First of all, an amazing name. Second, I thought about adding Expedited Inheritance or Wild Wasteland. I was slightly terrified of Expedited Inheritance because I didn’t see that it was a “may” trigger. I had concerns that I don’t want to provide too much draw to my opponents. However, most decks aren’t built to deal with exile draw. As well, the cost of might be hard for turn 2 or turn 3, especially because I’m setting up for then . However, this card seems like something you want to play after you set up for a bit. I just added Expedited Inheritance to my deck so I’ll test it out and let you know what my thoughts are. So far, it has been working very well for me. Thanks for the recommendation.

This guy is frickin terrified I'm sure you've seen this already. I'm excited to see if you plan on messing around and slotting him in. With your direction on creature tokens I'm not so sure if he'd be up to par, and he ends up stripping away any modifications on your creatures, but I know I am going to give him a shot.

Yeah, the new Norin looks crazy. I'm going to play test with him as soon as he comes out. This Norin should be absolutely wild with Bard Class.
