Patch 1.1

Back when Modern was a premiere format, commander was just a blip in the radar of most players, and my friends and I were completely focused on building the best 60 card constructed decks we could--with all ideas of format gone to the wayside--I was obsessed with the idea of building a weenie token deck that could pop off out of nowhere. Back then, there was only one real choice, and it was hilarious: Goats. Since then, I became the parent of a family of bunnies, and built a few tribal decks to boot, particularly a Chatterfang deck that was the source of inspiration for a dream I'd hope could come true one day: Bunny Kindred.

Fast forward to the D&D sets when Cadira, Caller of the Small dropped in with the first printing of a 1/1 Rabbit token, and I had a feeling that we were on track to something big, and my suspicions were right with the announcement of Bloomburrow! Once I saw the spoilers for Finneas, Ace Archer, I knew I had the bunny commander of my dreams.

The deck has gone through a strange metamorphosis during the build, and I think I've settled on something I am comfortable with. Our win conditions here are simple, dumb, and fun: Get bunnies, make big.

We've got a few ways to go about that, either by building up a big army with big counters when swinging with Finneas, as well as using combat tricks to pump up our unblocked commander or go even wider with swingers like Jacked Rabbit. Since I don't get to play much green I've included a couple of my long-time favorite spells, particularly Seedtime!

Go-wide enablers are all over in the deck, with the classic Selesnya enchantments that will double our spread, along with Rhys the Redeemed to double whenever we need. There's not much more to say here I think, the deck itself is pretty simple. Buff or go wide, that's it and that's all.

Dedicated to the three best buns that anyone could have: Zayda, Bilbo, and Dustruffle. I miss you all so much, and I love you.
