Well, a 3-1 record ain't bad.

Round 1 - Jund Midrange

What salty garbage. Jund Midrange. Anyway, apparently this deck dies to a T3 Bonfire of the Damned for 1, followed closely by a T4 Farseek assisted Thragtusk. And another Thragtusk. Salty. Although, I got him to 1 the second game and very close the first. Both times, Swagtusk stabilized it.

Round 2: Naya Slivers

Imagine Slivers, with only the common/uncommon ones. And only basics, no gates. Yeah. That was this. Rakdos defiles once again!

Round 3: Boros Battalion

One of the new players this week, he had an 80-card deck of 1- and 2- of's. I wasn't even sure what he was playing until I helped him with his list after the event. He got to 3 lands both games, and didn't manage to cast anything. (???)

Round 4: The Rock (Golgari Control)

This one was tough. Game 1, he Mutilated my board, then landed a Swagtusk (D'oh!). Him at 6, thanks to the work of my Spike Jesters and Rakdos Cackler. I had five mana on board, a Legion Loyalist, Madcap Skills, and Searing Spear in hand. Quick math with him tapped out snatched game 1. Game 2, he mulled to 5, kept a 1-lander, and never recovered.
