Galvanoth

The sphinx wand is good, but too high of a cost to work in this deck after playtesting (for what it does). It IS good though, I may end up eventually swapping it in.

Galvanoth doesn't do much. Galvonoth is basically a 5 drop with "every 5 upkeeps of yours or so, deal 3 damage"

Galvanoth has some serious potential if you have Melek out though.

I know this is kinda stretching it now, but maybe Tinker ? in case you have an artifact out that you dont really need you can swap it out for infinite damage.

Tinker is banned.

As for Galvanoth, I don't know how he has serious potential :P casting a lightning bolt for free is nice, but for 5 mana I'd rather just have a gilded lotus :P

Oh sorry I didn't bother to look it up lol. Aren't there other cards that do similar things? if not just ignore me I'm just rambling at this point.

Well I only run 11 artifacts anyways, none of which are really vital to the deck or that high costed. If I got to tutor one out most of the time I would probably choose crucible of worlds, but that would offer equivalent value of about one card drawn every turn I can loot a land, which is nothing crazy.

Elite Arcanist

Elite Arcanist is okay, but a 4 drop that can tap and pay 2 mana to deal three damage doesn't get me where I want to go in this deck. He's really only good in this deck if he grabs mystical tutor or brainstorm, which isn't awesome odds.

I really like that deck. What about Gelectrode ?

Thanks! Gelectrode isn't too bad. I would say that his competition for a spot is with Reckless Scholar, and all in all I think it's more important to have scholar keeping the engine running than it is to snag a few more points of damage. It would add up nicely with possibility storm out, but all in all just doesn't quite do enough.
