i like your suggestion of adding Vexing Devil and Keldon Marauders but my opponent will just let the vexing devil come into play and then kill it in a turn before he deals any actual damage, same with keldon marauders with them im for sure going to deal two damage but they will do the same to him as they will with vexing devil, they just take up space that i could use for other better burn spells

Vexing Devil definitely eats removal, but it could save Lavamancer from eating a Bolt or StP. Devil puts a lot of pressure on the opponent. I'm testing it in my build, but my deck is a bit more creature heavy than yours. Keldon Marauders doesn't eat as much removal, but is still a pretty sweet card. At worst he's a Shock or a chump, at best he's a Lava Axe or your opponent blocks and he kills something. Just my perspective.
I still think that you'll get land flooded with 21 lands though. Taking out 1-2 could help with that. I curve out at 3 CMC and have found that 19 seems to be perfect. Also, I'd be wary about the playset of Barbarian Ring as it can throw off your Mountain count for Fireblast . I run 3x and am usually ok, as I like to see one at some point to seal the game.

alright, the only reason i have Barbarian Ring is so that i have something to resort to in the later game, to me it is a land and a shock, plus if i dont want to play it i dont have to, i do have plenty of land like you said and i think i will need to take it out for some other burn cards. any suggestions would be great. because of this i will try adding in Vexing Devil

Oh yeah, Barbarian Ring rocks! I run it. I'm just saying you may not want 4 x of them due to anti-synergy with Fireblast .
I see you made changes... Sweet!

I would turn the Vexing Devil into 4 Eidolon of the Great Revel .

i would but Eidolon of the Great Revel is just like Pyrostatic Pillar except it is easier to kill even though, yes it could attack and deal damage. but the main damage focus with this deck is using spells to deal that damage since its a lot harder to stop spell damage than creature damage. thnx for the suggestion though

Never mind I think i will add Eidolon of the Great Revel because even if he does get killed, he I could use jim as a chump blocker or get more damage in with him by attacking. thnx for the suggestion

Barbarian Ring and Grim Lavamancer do no play well together. Personally, I prefer Young Pyromancer over Grim. As for the side board of Ashen Rider you don't just side in 1. You need minimum of three. If they S&T on turn 2, you will have looked at 8 cards. Very low percent to get the lone Rider.

okay to ashen rider. i have Grim Lavamancer in as a cheap turn one chump blocker plus it acts like a shock whenever i use its ability. i do know that it interferes with Barbarian Ring but i think barbarian ring is better than adding a few more Mountain

I've played around with Lavamancer and Barbarian Ring. With your fetches and Fireblast, you're golden.
Digging the look!

i have now changed my deck and added 4 Eidolon of the Great Revel once i realized how powerful of a card he was when i played with him. thank you very much for the suggestion logan1424 !

good suggestion i will try it out and see if it works well. the only reason i hadnt put it in yet is because that means i wont get to do any damage on turn three unless i use fireblast and get in with 6 damage. otherwise i might be able to play 3 Lightning Bolts! and 1 Fireblast to hit my opponent with a total of 13 damage, plus my deck focuses on a turn four kill so there wouldnt be that much of a point of having him in my deck since my opponent is dead next turn with or without his effect. at the beginning of turn three my opponent should already be at 11. - if i go second i could get a turn three kill, otherwise with your suggestion it would be turn four

You could safely cut a land for another card. To format card sets (each has a different 3 letter code; look in 'Cards' in the header bar), put [ZEN] after the card in deck editor for Zendikar.

Have you tried this build out yet? I'm working on a legacy burn build as well and I'm intrigued by a lot of the suggestions in here.
I'm curious how your build has done and what you've found to be the best sideboard strategies.

I've played a similar list against Affinity, Dredge, 12 Post, Jund, StoneBlade, TES/ANT, and Show&Tell. It's done quite well, actually.
Ashen Rider hoses S&T, Price of Progress completely wrecks most decks in the meta. Eidolon of the Great Revel is phenomenal, and eats removal like a boss. Our TES/ANT matchup has improved due to it being a Pyrostatic Pillar on a stick.

@shocked- I still need to figure out what I want my side board to be. I only threw those cards in there because if I don't need to use the cards then I won't use them but if I don't have anything there then I don't have anything to use at all. @aeonstoremyliver thnx I think it is a very good build to so far when I have been playing any legacy deck it seems that mine will always have the higher win/loss ratio.

Haha I dont think you read the title of my burn deck, I wanted a BUDGET BURN deck not a deck thats worth $360 like yours. I will gladly take criticism but don't tell me to use your deck instead of mine when you don't even understand budget I want the deck to be.

@ dangerclose I meant for you to get some ideas from my deck. I don't mean for you to go out and get every card from this. I saw many cards in your deck that could have been substituted for a more appropriate cards. I wasn't trying to make fun of you I was just trying to give you a better idea for your burn deck.
