Burn the Fields!

Modern*

Asylumrunner

This is a really stupid idea I had for a Modern deck that's basically centered around self-land destruction.

Good Things This Deck Does:

Azusa, Lost But Seeking: Obviously, this deck burns through lands very fast off of the board, so any advantage in playing them is nice. Honestly, though, I'm not quite sure if her head should be on the chopping block or not.

Countryside Crusher: One of the three important fatties in the deck. The fact that the counter is simply for putting a land in the graveyard, and not for having land IN the graveyard makes him better than Knight of the Reliquary, in my opinion

Koth of the Hammer: In a deck that runs a whole lot of lands, having those lands do something is very useful, so KOTH (oh, hey, I never noticed that before) is valuable in making lands into threats, getting out Sun Titan, and making my lands do more for their money.

Sun Titan: The third fatty of the deck, Sun Titan is meant to be played late game, and preferably when I have Crusher on the board. Every swing means one of my sacked lands gets to come back, especially useful for Koth goodness and for Dryad Arbors.

Rampaging Baloths: Y'know what's keeping Azusa in? This card. With enough land recursion to ensure land drops are being hit every turn, if not moreso, this guy is EXCELLENT.
