Nasty with a capital N. only switch id make is take put Volcanic Hammer for Searing Spear unless its not in the format that your working in. or Shock or Mizzium Mortars

I might consider swapping out the Burst Lightning for something like Searing Spear or Shock . It just seems to me that paying 5 for a 4 damage strike is a bit steep in a deck like this. Although that would just be my opinion

with slumbering dragon i find that Ring of Valkas works well to get it up and going quicker

Thanks benosmash. shadow63 i thinks that a great idea. i dont know how i missed it. As far as Mizzium Mortars goes i like to keep my spells open as much as possible to target creature or player. because in the end i just want to continue to blast my opponents life. Zexal42 i like what you are thinking but my concern is i can always hit for two but i often find myself with alot of land and no cards to cast so ill "kick" the Burst Lightning but i do understand what you are saying. heuertag i would love to get at least 2 Lava Spike in here but again the same problem i like to try to keep them open to creature or player. it just helps to try to keep control of the battlefield. Tytanious i like what you saying about slumbering dragon but i think i am going tpull this card out alltogether i have only used it once to attack and it is becoming more of a dead card for me. i would like to find a good replacement. Thanks for the input and +1's!

I'm wondering why you chose Volcanic Hammer over Incinerate . The latter has instant speed and even works on stopping regeneration.

Chain Lightning and Lava Spike would help this. Also the valakuts look like they might slow this down too much, and without some way to cheat in a bunch of mountains it seems like too slow a strategy.

Bonfire of the Damned for board wiping + opponent ping. Sulfuric Vortex forces the countdown, and prevents any nasty life gain they may plot to prevent you dealing damage. A few Smelt s might be in order if they start using Witchbane Orb . Finally, Koth of the Hammer might be better than your current chandra because a) he gives you one free extra mana to use per turn at the least. 2) he provides a very strong blocker if you need him to. 3) if they start taking out creatures, he can provide them to worry about the elementals. I'm sure land would be a lot better to get rid of than your instants and sorceries. That's all from only his +1! His -2 can offer that mana you need to finish off an opponent in a turn, or combo play some serious damage. And finally, if for some reason the game lasts long enough, then he can grant you an emblem that basically says "you win the game". Just some tips, hope they're useful!

you need 4 Goblin Guide , Shard Volley Keldon Marauders Hellspark Elemental your running way to many browbeat cut to 2 id suggest splashing black for Bump in the Night its a lot faster when your burn spells are all 1 drops

As others have said, Goblin Guide
is the best creature by far for this type of deck. Beyond that, Lava Spike
, Rift Bolt
, Searing Blaze
, and Magma Jet
are would probably work better for you than burn spells than Incinerate
, Searing Spear
, Browbeat
, and Shock
.
Forked Bolt
and Pillar of Flame
are other alternatives to shock.
Grim Lavamancer is a great repeatable damage source. 1 or 2 would be enough, as having more than one out will not help you
One more thing, I'd definatlely get rid of your valakuts. It won't do anything until your SEVENTH land drop, which you'll likely never get to with this deck. If you'd like to have a a different utility land instead, you could consider Ghitu Encampment or even Spinerock Knoll

steve21 bcornett24 mmdw34 Thanks for the help! what do you think about 2x Cryptborn Horror ?

KingAtticus says... #20
no crypt born horrors to slow. You need basically all 1 drops. thats kinda how it works.Goblin guides, shard volleys, stuff like that.

Yeah the only other creature i ever see these running is Keldon Marauders . Though I may suggest Increasing Vengeance .

The_Squirrel says... #23
I agree, Cryptborn Horror is too slow and unreliable. Also, i'd rather have quality one drop burn spells than Increasing Vengeance as you'll probably just be copying a 1 cmc spell anyway plus the flashback cost will likely be out of reach.

steve21 Why would Searing Blaze , and Magma Jet be better than Incinerate , Searing Spear ?? I get Magma Jet because of the scry 2. But i dont understand the others

Searing Blaze gives you two for the price of one. 3 dam to a creature and the player. Lava Spike and Rift Bolt , while less flexible, are just as efficient as Lightning Bolt , which is the gold standard for this type of deck.
