Blasphemous Act is always a good one to have, and I've gotten some really good use out of Sunforger if you feel like adding in some more instants. I'd recommend swapping out any sorceries that you have for their instant counterparts since you may be in a position to take someone out on another player's turn with Gisela in play. Like Comet Storm for Crater's Claws.

Same thing with Miraculous Recovery for Defy Death. Granted you don't get the 2 +1/+1 counters if it's an angel, but you do get instant speed recursion which can really wreck an opponents attack if they're not expecting it.

All solid suggestions, as I'd mentioned, I'm not especially familiar with the cards in the boros spectrum. As it it stands, most of the cards on the list are things I had lying around, along with a few from a shallow search. I've already got Comet Storm in there, so I doubt I can add it for Crater's Claws. Sunforger and Blasphemous Act are solid suggestions, though, I'll need to rustle up more instants. I'll definitely make some changes later this afternoon, when I get a chance. I'd forgotten Mesa Enchantress, and I do LOVE my enchantments, so I might add her. Lastly, how could I possibly pass up the opportunity to reference Trogdor.

Not sure how I missed Comet Storm in your list, but here's some more of my favorite instant burn spells. Granted they won't get much help from Sunforger, but if you want to check out some good instants for that particular card you can always check out my boros deck Scorching Winds.

Well, damn. I'm not surprised that there's decks with the same line of thought, given her blatant "build around me" ability, but your deck is doing nearly everything I want the deck to do. Also, it hadn't previously occurred to me that by sending damage through another card, you're compounding the effect; it's brilliant. I think I'll have to draw a little inspiration from that deck of yours.

Oh, wait, never mind, it doesn't do anything to the damage beyond negating Gisela's effect. Well, it was a beautiful moment.

Hahaha! I really wish I could just edit my comments, well, provided Gisela isn't on the field, but Furnace of Rath and/or Dictate of the Twin Gods is, then you do get some serious compounding. With Gisela and neither of those, you negate her effect, but if you add at least one of the two enchantments, you do get compounding. Ok, I think I've got that worked out.

Exactly. It is hard when redirecting the damage because it gets halved, then doubled with Gisela on the field. The bonus is when you have things in play like Repercussion, or anything else to that effect.

I think that Repercussion is definitely worth having in here because it makes things a lot more potent, the cards that damage creature and player simultaneously, and Arcbond looks solid too. I'll have to add Sword of the Animist for that ramp. Thanks, this is really helpful.

No matter what I play, be it colour or game type or even another game altogether, I always end up trying to just optimize firepower+speed above all else. You'd think, then, that I'd love red but usually, in magic, it comes down to bombing as opposed to peppering, which means green. As such I'm used to plenty of ramp, and relying of size to get me through; the idea of building up my base at a slower rate is difficult to adjust to but well worthwhile.

If you're running a lot of enchantments, Mesa Enchantress will assist with card draw. +1 for the Trogdor reference too <3
