Oh yeah I totally understand. However, even in the opening hand it isn't too bad. Miracle into it is amazing. Plus at 3 it will have the chance to pop up early but also not to the point where it will always be in the opening hand. However, you could do two and use the other two for Rummaging Goblin .

your answer to the ooze is either Stuffy Doll (unorthodox) or some sort of creature stealing mechanism with the ability to sacrifice it. (Zealous Conscripts is never a bad SB card).

also, card:Red Sun's Zenith is a pretty good card... it can be used over and over reliably for whatever the occasion calls for. good in the opening hand... good to draw into later.

Smart answer numa529. If you definitely want an answer to the Ooze then Stuffy Doll would be the card.

I dont hink the ooze is going to come up THAT often. The phoenix will also work though.

It may not but it is still a deadly threat. I don't see why green decks don't run it though. I mean, indestructible, gets a +1/+1 counter every time it attacks AND every time it helps kill a creature. I'd at least sideboard Stuffy Doll , seeing as how it is an absolutely amazing card.

for most green decks, Ooze is to slow. In my mana ramp, Hyper Mana Ramp, for instance, i can get Primeval Titan out turn 3, pair him with Wolfir Silverheart turn 4 for a 10/10 SOB, it would take Ooze forever to match that. Putting Increasing Savagery would only make the deck slower. Thats reason Ooze isn't in most decks.
