The main idea here is to control the board thru Counterspell, Flood, and assorted burn spells, while getting Merfolk Assassin set up with a War Barge. Once set up, it should be easy to tap destroy all opposing creatures.

For extra fun, if an opponent tries to destroy a War Barge somehow, it's ability can be used to get a kill without needing a Merfolk Assassin.
