You are sure that you packed the torches before you left...

Fumbling through your pack once again, you find a small crescent hole staring back at you. With a sinking heart, you take a deep breach and slouch into a depressed heap and wonder why you'd ever gave that merchant your attention. Hopping back on your feet you walk aimlessly with silence as your partner. *Splish**Splash*, as your feet sink into puddles causing a painful chill spikes that up your leg forcing you to jolt upright. You suddenly realize that you are caught in a daunting mist that blocks everything beyond arm's reach and you feel very alone. Backtracking, you squint your eyes and can make the outskirts of a figure in the mist. Your heart stops. Frozen in fear, the mist dances around him as he approached you. Rags seem to slip off of him as he takes each step. His minuscule, but hulking presence terrorizes what's left of your diminished courage. Your body refuses to move and sweat begins to slip off your body in a steady, but slow pace. With his bony fingers, he pulls a bag from his sack revealing a human skull. Freshly cut, polished to the bone he utters no words but smiles at you and takes a step forward and crackles, "Waste not the time for today thou has been giveth a chance."

The "Burning Recall" deck harnesses the synergy of Waste Not and other strategically chosen cards to create a devastating and resourceful playstyle. "Waste Not" is a key enchantment that rewards you for making your opponents discard cards and allows you to capitalize on their misfortune. As each opponent discards a card, you'll gain various advantageous benefits, such as generating mana, creating Zombie creature tokens, or drawing additional cards. The second MVP is Burning Inquiry, an odd card that forces you and your opponent to draw and discard 3, but it has incredible synergy with the rest of the deck to create various advantage states. Cards such as Orcish Bowmasters, Dauthi Voidwalker, Tourach, Dread Cantor, & Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. Remember, adaptability, timing, and resource management are key to mastering the "Burning Recall" deck. So gather your cards, prepare for strategic warfare, and may RNG be ever your favor in the world of Magic: The Gathering.

Reasons to play this deck - It's a non-meta deck that plays around with oddly satisfying synergies with a janky card. - It's a minor subtheme of a controlled choas, how many times can you say you won in modern due to choas - Contains high disruption for your opponent...and possibly yourself :P The ability to adapt to other decks and spew out value is one major upsides to Waste Not because... - Opponent Discards a Creature -> get a 2/2 zombie token. Super relevant in this case as what better way to beat an aggro/midrange creature deck with free creatures to attack and block with. - Opponent Discards a Non-Creature -> it gets you more cards against controls and in general, when is card draw ever bad? (edit: Mill, drawing is bad in mill, and most of their mill cards are instant/sorcery) - Opponent discards a land -> helps you cast "free" spells for tempo. The deck is centered around a specific of cards that can cast the generated BB from Waste Not easily Dauthi Voidwalker, Orcish Bowmasters, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Waste Not, The One Ring
