Prior to making my block-constructed Aragorn, the Uniter commander deck, i created a version of this Sauron, the Dark Lord commander deck (also block-constructed). This deck is likewise pruned for flavour, though this may not be immediately obvious — the theme here includes anyone who is bound by the ring, so anythigg with ring-tempt mechanics or the circle border is fair game. This online version is slightly modified with more expensive cards which i will be proxying, but i've found quite a bit of success with the lower-powered version — it was honestly a bit too powerful for my friend group even though i was the only one limiting myself to the LotR block. My hope is that this deck and the Aragorn deck will be of enough comparable strength to face off against each other on even ground, but i don't know how realistic that is. Any insights or help would be appreciated (again, i am not the account owner, and have only been playing MtG for a month).
