Abundant Growth doesnt give 2 mana when tapped like utopia does. Although the card draw might not be a bad idea..

melira pod i have to specific side against...which isnt always an issue. I run into problems dealing with lillana of the veil and discard. Having cards in hand to setup is important. Blue usually cant keep up with the ramp, but an early thoughtsieze really hurts this deck.

So wow. I proxied this deck. And nothing like having 10 4/4 fliers on turn 5 possibly turn 4 haha. Really like this deck and I'm gonna try and get this deck. I'm not real big into modern but this is a fun deck to play.

xMakerxHollarx Yeah this deck is really unreal at pumping out strength in numbers. Thanks for the praise :)

I absolutely LOVE this deck!!! Have you ever thought about running Mercy Killing over Beast Within ? I figure that could be a better option in case someone targets your Mycoloth or Champion of Lambholt with removal. just imagine the quantity of tokens that could be produced. Likewise, this could act as a win-con if Purphoros, God of the Forge is out on the battlefield. And in regards for your opponent, having useless 1/1 creatures instead of a their win-con is quite disheartening.

KongaDonga I will test out Mercy Killing ! That is not a bad idea. I like Beast Within for planeswalker removal though...But mercy isnt a bad idea at all.

I feel lucky to have never played against this deck +1 for sure.
I would probably put Sundering Growth and Growing Ranks in sideboard to get some extra tokens out in certain cases though.
But still, this deck is astounding.

I swapped in Mercy Killing in testing for Beast Within , it was not really that effective for me. Maybe if I swapped for a few creatures and a walker. I will try that this weekend.

Dude this deck is way way to slow since I am to lazy to comment look at this. Trust me http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/modern-deck-creation/554409-gruul-aggro-rg-zoo

Also a budget suggestions since you run so many basics why not run Rootbound Crag also why 0 Goblin Guide or Vexing Devil come on bro bro bro

One last thing , you seem semi new to the game, and I would not recommend dishing out 400$ on a deck right away make something cheaper and get to know the format. The reason you probably won 3 times is you have a more casual meta one sec to remember is when making aggro it should win turn 3-4 , and there should be a reason you run beside's tons of creatures because affinity is way better at that.

Oh I kinda sounded like a dick sorry. But all my suggestions are valid.

You could add Verdant Catacombs and Arid Mesa to search for your stompys. Fetches are really good. Also Rootbound Crag is good too.

A thought I have had is that Bow of Nylea can function similar to Elixir of Immortality . The obvious problem being the much higher CMC, and the fact that it takes more turns to accomplish the same thing. This is sort of counteracted by the deathtouch almost, but even with the ramp in this deck, since you want to get multiple tokens, the elixir may be better still. also Feed the Clan could be useful, because it can easily can gain you 10 life for 1G.

After playtesting, I like it but haven't had as much success as I thought when looking at the list. It is helpless against tokens (no wiper/sweeper), can't keep up with graveyard decks, doesn't have enough draw power or tutoring (which leads to a tendency to end up mana flooded), isn't resilient/recurring enough to deal with disruption/removal, and I often have planeswalkers using their abilities to no effect. I suppose if it were fast enough then none of those problems would matter, but this deck is rarely that fast for me.

I see you have this listed for multiplayer, do you think Impact Tremors would be helpful? Just a thought. I like seeing good gruul ideas, nice work.

Awesome. Most effective use of Planeswalkers I've seen in a Modern deck, maybe even including Tron. The ramp and mana dorks deck get them out easily, and Doubling Season makes them really threatening. I don't know about the sideboard, though. I imagine you'd have trouble against Burn without Spellskite, and that's really the only card you have to address the matchup, at 3-of. Mistcutter Hydra is nice against Control, but I'd also consider Eyes of the Wisent. I've had a some success with it, though it's a highly conditional card, so it's dependent on the metagame. I feel like your sideboard is out to address everything, and you might focus more on weak matchups that you're likely to see. In any case, well done and good luck.
