PigmanWhat do you think I should add though, do you think I need more creatures or removal?

Pigman I'm gonna see how a playset of Diregraf Ghouls works out.

Pigman Removed Diregraf Ghouls and put back the lands so you can try it in its original form.

I've tested with the original deck already. I got flooded a whole lot. Posted a good starting list on my page.

Pigman I know that Brimaz is really good, but his price hurts my wallet.

I'd probably go with Desecration Demon over Master of the Feast. The extra card draw for your opponent can go bad for you quite quickly.

If you do play Demon, which you should, play 22 lands. I'd cut 2 despise.

Pigman I think that 20 lands will work fine, I'll test that a little. Also, why did you wanna cut Despise; did it not work for you very well in testing or something?

I fell as though it's kind of redundant, as Duress also hits walkers. That's mostly just personal preference, though. Your list is generally really awesome.

Pigman Thanks, I was mostly using despise to hit creatures, though, I thought it was best for taking down scary creatures before they entered the battlefield for one black mana.

Oh, Jeez. I forgot that Duress doesn't hit creatures. Disregard what I said about cutting it.

MrBiggieD I feel like Desecration Demon does poorly against control because of boardwipes, mainly wrath. It's possible that it won't do too bad, but my concern is that it takes an extra turn to get out while Master of the Feast attacks on the turn that Desecration Demon would get in, and even then, it's not guaranteed to attack, because they might sacrifice a 1/1 or something weak to keep it tapped often, making the play mostly a waste of mana.
July 1, 2015 6:26 p.m.
That's valid, I think. If control is really prevalent in your metagame, play the Master.

I have a question, everybody, what cards are good for a sideboard in modern? Because I don't know.
July 2, 2015 9:30 a.m.
I have to disagree with playing the master over the demon. Simply because if control decks are an issue, the last thing you want to give them is card advantage. Control decks live off of card advantage and you're giving it right to them. I've been running an orzhov deck that uses Desecration Demon as a finisher and rarely run into issues. If you're looking for sideboard help, feel free to check out my deck
Deck: I'm not even sorry.
It has a decent "catch all" sideboard that you can take to most FNMs and have an answer for most things.

QuackAttack I don't think Battle Brawler is efficient enough for me to run.
MrBiggieD I feel like i should be able to kill them fast enough with my deck, before they draw twice with Master of the Feast, I may place Desecration Demon in the sideboard to replace it in match-ups where my opponent may play something like Pacifism which nullifies the card without removing it from the field, allowing them to retain the card draw. Your sideboard seems a tad slow for me to run, do you have any recommendations for cards to have in my sideboard that aren't too slow for my deck? Also, you have a pretty good deck which I believe deserves a +1.

QuackAttack It costs two mana so it's only going to be attacking on turn three, also, I'm not guaranteed of having a white permanent down by that point in time. I also see nothing that is worth taking out to put it in.
July 3, 2015 5:36 p.m.
You should concider other special lands other than Caves of Koilos, like Isolated Chapel. I think it'll be worth your while.
July 4, 2015 5:53 p.m.
Zealous Persecution? I'd probably recommend it over Despise or Oblivion Ring. If you're still looking for sideboard suggestions, something like 2x Relic of Progenitus, 3x Timely Reinforcements, 2x Stony Silence, and 3x Dismember, 1x Grafdigger's Cage, 3x Dismember, 1x Duress is probably pretty good for staying budget.

Your top CMC is 3. You don't need 24 lands. Cut it down to 20. You could add in something like doom blade, or another aggro creature. Maybe tormented hero.
