BW Allies - All Aboard The Drain Train

Standard* Allies Lifegain Vampires

Lelouche

Sideboard

First ever deck here on tappedout. I've been a allies fan ever since BFZ and I wanted to continue the theme while improving on it.

The deck is very synergistic and centers around life gain by using black and white allies. The deck is very synergistic using Kalastria Healer to ping them for 1 and gain us 1 every time an ally we control enters, which all 22 of our creatures are, not including our ally token producers in Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and Captain's Claws . Zulaport Cutthroat work well in that it rewards me and hurts my opponents whenever a creature of mine dies.

Drana, Liberator of Malakir-3 of because she is legendary rather than the full 4, she allows me to have evasive damage in the air that pumps my creatures on the ground. Drana's Emissary - Another evasive flyer with less than desirable combat stats, but she is an ally, and allows a two point life swing for every upkeep she lives. Lantern Scout - a 3/2 body for 3 is totally acceptable, it's an ally, and can give my entire team lifelink for a turn whenever an ally enters.Cliffhaven Vampire -

Captain's Claws - This card is just perfect. I can't really say anything else to describe how much I love this card. Want to produce a ally token to trigger Kalastria Healer? Want to make a token that swings and dies to trigger Zulaport Cutthroat? Want to be able to flood the board with tokens and go wide? This card does it all.

I'm looking for suggestions on the current creature layout, the non-creature spells I have, and my sideboard. Any constructive suggestions or questions are appreciated!

Went 2-1-1 during the Swiss portion.

2-1 against Mardu tokens. It was basically a battle of who could fill up the board faster. He normally won that battle, but the triggers from Kalastria Healer and Zulaport Cutthroat normally did enough. Also, Declaration in Stone wrecked his strategy pretty hard when I played it.

2-0 against Mono-White Humans. Both games, my opponent had great fast starts, but my life gain kept me afloat long enough to fight my way back and win both games.

1-2 against Esper Dragons. Game one I killed him on turn 6 with a fast start. Game 2 he kept my board clear and finished me off with an Ojoutai and Sorin. Game 3, I got him down to 3 life, then he wiped my board and got down an Ojoutai. Next turn, played March from the Tomb which would have won me the game off of Kalastria Healer triggers, but he had a counter and then proceeded to finish me off.

0-0-3 against Grixis Fevered Visions. We agreed to a mutual draw to guarantee we both made Top 8. Played for fun, I won the first game and second, but neither of us sideboarded.

First round of Top 8 I was seeded 5th, played the 4th seed who just happened to be the guy I just drew against. I lost 1-2. I won our first game easily. Game 2 and 3, he had lots of good sideboard cards to deal with me. Both games got him below 5 life, but I just couldn't finish him off.

Lesson learned, I have a very weak match up against Esper Dragons/Control. and my sideboard needed some adjusting. So I took out the Lantern Scout and replaced it with To the Slaughter to deal with Ojoutai's, Westvale Abby/Ormendahl, and planeswalker heavy decks. Still considering whether or not I want to try and sign up for the Minneapolis GPT, will do some more FNM testing and see if my deck could compete.
