@ VassiliosK As I said before the update, replace the Thoughtseize with Duress and the deck is $120 cheaper. It's budget ...not pauper.

Fleecemace lion is going to be played a lot. Sacrifice tools in the mainboard would be very beneficial. But with that being said, a fleecemace lion getting monstrous is not the end of the game, and often can't be helped

The sideboard handles Fleecemane Lion pretty well, with Lifebane Zombie and possibly Devour Flesh

Corrupt can easily be another good finisher and can easily work after board wipes since it goes by swamps its definitely worth testing

+1 for a nice brew, and another mono-black player! Love mono black, i am running a rakdos control list sorta like this. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/pyromancer-discard/

22 lands and only 4 white sources at all with two of your best creatures being double white is completely insane, especially since you have no way to get Obzedat, Ghost Council or Ashen Rider into the yard. I can't imagine you ever getting to cast either of them, and Read the Bones is basically always going to be limited to using Scry to get all your action off the top in favor of digging for white sources.

You need to run at least 4 Plains , or Temple of Silence . The same problem is going to stop High Priest of Penance and Sin Collector from coming out without a mull in a lot of games.

Actually, in reality, you need to be cutting spells for more lands, not just changing your sources. My deck curves out at 7 with 25 lands, and it's still tricky to get there before turn 9 regularly. And that's in a midrange deck, yours is ostensibly control.

That's a safer manabase. If you really want to keep your land count down, add some white sources and a set of Crypt Ghast .

My apologies to you, and everyone who looked at this today...I changed it over from a monoblack deck this morning, and in my haste, forgot to edit the mana base...Yes, running only 3 white sources IS insane...I'll be updating it in a moment Thanks for pointing this out, jinglehell

Hey, your deck, no apology needed, was just slightly confusing.
