Creature (1)

Sorcery (1)

fun little deck to play. main idea is to eventually run your opponent over with 5/5 flying demon tokens (which you can start pumping out on turn four) with the skirsdag high priests. altar's reap is beautiful as it sets off morbid, and allows you to draw two cards. the vampires too while pumping your creature. not only that, it is protection from things like sever the bloodline and detention sphere. rootborn defences is there for supreme verdict and other nasty things. the rest is typical token stuff.

sideboard options include faith's shield for some added protection, sundering growth for enchantment control + populate, bone splinters to set off morbid + removal. not sure what else to put in this deck though to make it solid.

dropped the rats. as much as i love them, they are fairly slow. because of the lack of underworld connections, and altar's reap is mostly there to enable morbid, you don't get enough draws for it to be truly useful. there were times when i could have discarded lingering souls but having 4 spirit tokens instead of just 2 was more useful to me.

added the bloodline keeper instead. fits in beautifully with sorin and the other vamps. even if they kill sorin, if he's managed to get even 1 token out, you can still flip the keeper within 1/2 turns sometimes.

sometimes he's used for tapping for the high priest though, which is bad. considering dropping this concept.
