Maybe Admonition Angel instead of Avacyn, Angel of Hope ? It seems to fit better with your deck.

What's your plan of victory?

The avacyn is because I don't want my own shit being removed seeing as much of my exile would vanish if my own board would be attacked.

Victory is generally achieved by control through removal (duh) and punching them in the face with either tiny flying souls, ideally buffed up through Honor of the Pure or the new addition of Elesh long name, the weird hat wearer or by beating them a little harder with said elesh, or a fun angel or two.

Possible additions at this point in time I'd considder:card:Runechanter's PikeUnderworld Connections Some sort of tutor?

I'd also like to add I scored a liliana for 9.99 cause a dog attacked it. Still works.

May I suggest Tainted Field and maybe even one or two Sundial of the Infinite ?

I went with pain lands due to budget. Maybe I'll add some new lands when gatecrash comes out.

What would the sundial achieve fr me?

It does a couple of things.

Let's say you Fiend Hunter a scary creature, and your opponent tries to Doom Blade your Fiend Hunter at the end of your turn. You can in response activate the Sundial in two ways. One in response to the doom blade itself, meaning you exile the doom blade and keep your Fiend Hunter. The second is in response to the Fiend Hunter's leaves play effect, which would leave the opponent's creature permanently exiled!

There are a couple of other ways to use it really sneakily, I think you'd have a lot of fun seeing it once in a blue moon.

May I suggest you to put in Sheoldred, Whispering One ? I'd also suggest you to put into mainboard at least 2 copies of Buried Alive and +2 Unburial Rites , and may be also good to add Iona, Shield of Emeria . Why those cards? Because it takes to much time to play those creatures as usual, so, rather put them into your graveyard and then put them onto the battlefield by using Unburial Rites . It might make your deck faster.Of course, its just a thought :)

And, I'd suggest to cut out Appetite for Brains , Memoricide , Sever the Bloodline . As long as you're playing just one copy of them, there is just to small chance to get them and the deck could work even without them and you may replace them with some other cards. Again, just a thought. And, sorry for the double comment too :(

Thoughts on what to replace swords with in cases where i need modern legal?

-4swords, +1 fiend hunter, +3 journey to nowhere?

June 9, 2013 1:38 a.m.

Yeah, if you're wanted to go Modern, I would replace the Swords to Plowshares with Journey to Nowhere and let your Oblivion Ring s take care of pesky artifacts and enchantments/auras. StP is such a sweet ass card though, but making it Modern is much better than Casual. Unless you're just playing friends, then I would keep StP. Good deck though, I like it. GG+1

Only works if something is in their graveyard. Memoricide is easier to cast despite being 4x (or infinitely more) to cast due to targets. I also have Extirpate if they manage to get something in there.

I really like this deck, however I would definitely include Extirpate and I would use Path to Exile instead of Swords to Plowshares

Oops. Inaccidentally deleted the wrong cards. Swords are for casual games only where it's actually legal. Paths are for always.

Unmake ANYBODY??

What are you doing without Unmake ?

btw, Swords to Plowshares is not modern.

August 28, 2013 9:23 p.m.

Crib Swap is a nice instant speed exile that doesn't have any major repercussions.

i would definitely drop Memoricide for Surgical Extraction or Extirpate and run at least 2 of them

August 29, 2013 10:53 p.m.

I would drop [Memoricide] for [Sadistic Sacrament], both cards do the same, but the cmc for Sacrament is one mana lower.

Byxfluzba says... #22

Uh. Memoricide is already out of the 75 and bbb is too intensive for this deck. I took the earlier advice and went with extirpate and surgical extraction.
