How the deck works in an ideal world:

1st turn: Soldier of the Pantheon. 2nd turn: High Priest of Penance. 3rd turn: Gift of Immortality on Priest. 4th Turn: Desecration Demon or Xathrid Necromancer.

From them on, I would play damage spells on / block with the Priest. If a card of mine dies, it becomes a 2/2 zombie if Xathrid Necromancer is out. If a Gift of Immortality is on the necromancer, I can also sac it to draw cards and gain a token at the end of turn, or use Pharika's Cure on my own creature to gain 2 life and get another token for 2 mana. Agent of Fate works similar to above, and Deathtouch helps me deal with larger creatures. I have locked a whole board down with an Immortal Agent multiple times.

That's the main idea. Hopefully it will work! Looking for suggestions to help make it better! Also need help with a sideboard, as I don't know the current state of Standard magic. (Just getting back into the game). Thanks!

Updates Add

7th place at Game Day on 10/21/13 with an incomplete deck.

Updated Sideboard as well.

Summery of night: Win 2-1 vs a White/Blue deck. White Weenie with counter spells. Win 2-0 vs a Green/Red deck that was mainly about larger creatures. Loss 2-1 vs Esper Control because I had NOTHING to deal with Planeswalkers (Elspeth ran me over) Loss 2-1 vs Big Red. First game was a good win, 2nd game I played really poorly, 3rd game I had a near perfect hand to start but did not draw a single swap in 7 turns so I couldn't play anything.

Had I won the last game, I would have got 4th, but what can ya do?

At the gameday today, I had these changes due to not having all cards I need still:

Not in Deck (I Don't own these cards yet) 3x Hero's Downfall 2x Desecration Demon 4x Godless Shrine

Replacement Cards (Borrowed the two big creatures from a friend) 2x Swamp 2x Plains 1x Deathpack Angel 1x Angelic Skirmisher 2x Devour Flesh 1x Gods Willing

The Angelic Skirmisher really held it's own one game when I had a few creatures and a whip out, because they could all attack with vigilance and lifelink. I feel it's too conditional to be a mainstay of the deck though...

With the sideboard, I'm worried I don't have enough to take on mono blue devotion... however, I'm also not sure that anyone around here even plays it so it may not matter.

I have also toyed with Precinct Captain and Tithe Drinkers to fill the 2 drop spot that the above list is lacking. They would help against control decks. I feel these other cards will likely be stronger though, except most of them are 3 drops which kind of kills my curve.

Any thoughts would be very appreciated.
