This is a budget life gain deck i made for my friend. I tested it and it does okay, not great but that's because it is budget. He can't spend anymore than thirty dollars, so don't say to add desecration demon or other expensive cards.

Creature list:Herald of torment- good three drop for blackChild of night- okay kind of a shitty card i know, but it always has lifelink and that is why we use it.Mogis's marauder- Basically you can drop him and be almost certain to hit for some damage and maybe gain some life.Sengir vampire- evasion and can grow, cheap desecration demon in my eyes.gray merchant of ashpodel- so mush black devotion it's great to have.

Other Spells:Pretty self explanatory, they help with the lifegain concept and add a little bit of control to help keep our creatures connecting with the opponent.
