This deck is a standard deck in which I built using ideas from here and there. +1 this if you like it, I've been playing it with my friends for a little bit, and it seems to do some crazy damage to a person and their deck/hand.

Creatures:

4x Desecration Demon- Who doesn't love a 6/6 for a four drop? On top of that he has flying, and the only negative thing I have to say about this card, is that yes he can be tapped out, but when he is, he gets stronger each time. It a lose win situation.

2x Obzedat, Ghost Council- AMAZING card! Pair this with the whip if he is destroyed and it is insane(deeply explained when I explain the whip). He comes into the field, you gain 2 life while your opponent loses 2. You exile him at end step, he comes back into play beginning of your upkeep, you gain to they lose 2, and he can attack because of haste, then you exile at end step..... Rinse and repeat.

1x Blood Baron- Ehhhhh I thought I really liked this card, but after playing its not the best card in my deck. Granted it's awesome, but his effect only happens when you are at 30+ life and your opponent is at 10 or lower, which if you got them there, you are most likely going to destroy them anyway, buy hey, who doesn't want a killing blow card. On top of that, he starts off with lifelink and protection from white and black.

1x Erebos, God of the Dead- I honestly think this card is underrated by most people. When he is on the field, even if you don't have the devotion for him to be a creature, it makes it so your opponent cannot gain life, and you can pay 2 life and 2 mana to draw a card. Pair that with the lifelink from the whip and you can draw all day long.

2x Lifebane Zombie- Great card. I love this card, because it lets you look at your opponents hand, which by itself is a great help, because you'll know what you are going up against, but if they have any green or white creature cards, you can choose to exile one of them. On top of this, he is a 3/1 for 3 mana, and he has intimidate.

2x Gray Merchant of Asphodel- Love Love Love this card. A lot of people are if'y about this card, but not me. Yes he is expensive, but if you play him at the right time, you can devastate your opponent. Pair this with lifebane zombie, the whip, obzedat, desecration demon, it doesn't matter the devotion kill effect is great in my eyes. Plus you gain life equal to what is lost, awesome to pair this with Blood Baron, IF you even need it.

4x High Priest of Penance- Probably the one card in my deck, besides Elspeth, that has saved my life multiple times. Costs ONLY 1 plains and 1 swamp to drop this 1/1. Yeah it's weak, but really, if it is dealt any form of damage you get to destroy an opponents nonland permanent. So if, for example, A Polukranos, World Eater declares an attack along side his buddy Mistcutter Hydra, you can block one of them with High Priest, and destroy the other, basically saving your butt from getting wrecked. This card has let me stall for turns upon turns, to get the cards I needed to win.

Planeswalkers:

2x Elspeth, Sun's Champion- This card is ridiculous. Yes its expensive(both in mana and in price of the card), but it is welllllllllllll worth it. If your opponent can't stop her from getting on the field, then they with be in a world of hurt. She will protect not only herself but you, producing 3 1/1 soldier tokens every turn(if you choose to take that path). Then if you are feeling pressure pop her -3 ability and destroy all the creature with a power of 4 or greater(and yes this includes your own creatures). The best part about her though, is her emblem. For -7 you get to produce an emblem that gives all creature you control +2/+2 AND Flying.....just wow.....

Spells:

4x Thoughtseize- Believe it or not, I actually didn't like this card for a while, but as i tried it out in my deck, I realized how strong it really is, why it is so longed for in Black decks. You could first turn wipe out your opponents best card in hand if you had a swamp and thoughtseize. It isn't just good early game, it's good any time, because it can easily change a game, by getting rid of a vital part of your opponents deck(such as a Planeswalker). Not only that, but you get to look at your opponents hand, and know what is instore for you.

3x Hero's Downfall- I'm most likely going to be running an addition one of these to have a play set, because it's remove is so strong. Destroy target creature OR PLANESWALKER.... nuff said.

3x Whip of Erebos- This card is vital to the deck, not so much you will lose without it, but it makes life soooooo soooo soooooo much easier. Not only is it a 2 devotin for gray of Erebos himself, but all your creatures have lifelink, and if you choose to tap the whip, and pay 2 colorless and 2 swamp, you can bring a creature from your graveyard, to the battlefield, with haste. Then it is Exiled at the end of your turn. Pretty good right? NOTTTTTT, It's freaking amazing, because if you pair this with a destroyed obzedat, you bring him back with haste attack if you wish, but at your end step, you choose the obzedat effect to resolve first by exile him by his own effect, the whips permanent exile is no longer in effect. Don't believe me, look up the rulings. This combo is straight up nasty as hell.

3x Read the Bones- With whip its just a deck stacker and drawer. Even without it can let you get ahead in the game, just with the mana cost and 2 life. Scry 2, Draw 2, Lose 2 life. Fair enough.

2x Ultimate price- Simple removal, pretty good card.

3x Doom Blade- Great card, unless you are up against another Black deck, then you gotta sideboard it out, because its just a dead card in your deck. I was thinking about getting rid of one of these for that 4th Hero's Downfall.

Lands:

Lands are lands. Blahhh blah blahhhh, 4 chcoklands, 4 scry lands, the rest normal blah blah blahhhhh.

If you read this, thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed my thoughts, if you did +1, if you didn't, wellllll you should let me know what you think, I like trying to make my deck better, and then +1 it anyways :P
