-BW "Obzedat, Ghost Council" EDH Deck-

[Multiplayer, Non-competitive (or at least not "must-win" hyper competitive), Political]

This is my Obzedat EDH deck. The main theme is disruption, control, spot- and mass-removal spells, and reanimation, while also including an enchantment sub-theme. Obzedat's steady life gain and tricky-to-remove nature keep you in the game and him on the board.

The main theme is pretty self-evident and self-explanatory, but basically the deck aims to control opponents' board states and then use the best creatures available at the time against them.

The enchantment sub-theme provides an enjoyably different flavor to the deck. Notably, Starfield of Nyx makes enchantments more difficult to deal with by constantly bringing them back (or otherwise redirecting removal towards it and not your other enchantments). Starfield can also possibly turn your enchantments into creatures, providing an unexpected army that can be deceptively powerful, especially with the lord-like creatures of Dictate of Heliod and Spear of Heliod.

The Maybeboard contains cards that fit well in the deck or otherwise should be in the deck but that I do not own / don't have multiple copies of.
